My granddaughter, who turns seven this month, loves this Christmas gift we purchased for her.It's bright, flashy, lightweight and the mic stores on it.She loves the many features and the LOL specific songs that are on it.For me, there are two things I would suggest as improvements and one question I have since she misplaced her instructions.1) including an aux cord2) longer cord for mic3) Once you record, does it just record right over that recording the next time or how do you find previous recordings?This is a HUGE hit with her.Be sure to have your mouth close to the mic and the button on it pressed. Notice the high, medium and low sound button on back by the aux port. Also wait for the lil chime to know it's recording.Definitely would recommend for ages 4-8. Not sure about younger than 4 and might be too "starter machine" for older than 8.

Bought it for a niece at Christmas. Kids just liked hearing their voices loud. From what i saw good for 4 - 7 year olds.We had a full house and this was a crowd pleaser for the young kids. Not sure if it survived, but they sure liked it.

This was way smaller than I thought it was. After a day or 2, my granddaughter put it down @ hasnt touched it again.
