Raw Acacia Honeycomb by Savannah Bee Company - 12.3 Ounce

I have tried quite a few brands when it comes to raw honeycomb and while I really can't say I have had a bad one, there are definitely options out there that are better than others. One of my personal favorites is Raw Acacia Honeycomb by The Savannah Bee Company. Its got a fantastic favor and the honeycomb isn't brittle at all. Its super soft and is basically like chewing bubble gum for 30-60 seconds. I eat one heaping tablespoon every morning as the health benefits for raw honey are pretty amazing. I use Wedderspoon Organic Manuka Honey for the rest of my honey needs, but when it comes to my morning breakfast, Savannah Bee Companies Raw Acacia Honey is without question my #1 choice. Just a great rich honey flavor that is not to weak and not too strong. This has become a staple to my morning breakfast.Bottom line - if your looking to add some raw honey to your diet, I highly recommend you at least give The Savannah Bee Companies Raw Acacia Honey a try. IMO, its without question one ofthe best options on the market. And adding raw honey to your diet is one of the smartest moves one can make in regards to diet. You don't need to eat a lot. A single tablespoon or teaspoon in the morning is plenty and gives you a nice energy boost about 10 minutes after you eat it.

I found the packaging nice and neat. Comes in small plastic box with the Honeycomb fitting tightly inside but not too tight. Full of Honeycomb that is overflowing full of honey so real bang for your buck. Plastic box opens and closes without mess that I was worried about and my 11 year old has no problem opening to cut a piece to spread on toast or just eat then close without making mess. Honey and comb is clean and has a delicious taste. Much better than most other honeys I have tried. Also honey is not grainy or crystallized. When I need more Honeycomb this is definitely the same brand I will buy again. My daughter has been eating daily for several weeks plus I have eaten quite a few times. Still have a quarter left of Honeycomb and lots liquid honey left. A little goes a long way. I really can't say enough about the great flavor!

Have you even craved a food you have never tried before? That was honeycomb for me, and I researched for hours and hours before deciding to buy this item. It is a mild variety and buying through Amazon saves you a dollar off retail price plus you get free shipping. I was worried that honey was going to leak out of the container and spread all around the inside of the package, but that wasn't the case! The honeycomb was shipped inside of a thick plastic container (like in the picture) which is wrapped twice around the seam with plastic. That is stuffed inside of a bubble wrap sleeve, and put inside of a box. It is good spread on toast, because the honeycomb wax melts a bit and acts like butter. But I actually like it the most by itself! The wax clumps together after you chew on it a bit and then I just spit it out. It feels more decadent than chocolate ganache, but it is all natural. Plus I hear it may help fight off allergies! Will certainly purchase again from Savannah Bee Company.

The package arrived well sealed and not a drop of honey out of place. I was very impressed with how well it was packaged. The product itself is devine! There is nothing better than honeycomb that melts in your mouth (I really don't like to have to spit it out and avoid buying them because of this). The taste is delicious. I would not be surprised if they use this product at higher end restaurants in their charcuterie/cheese platter. Just eat it with nice toast and you're all set for an amazing snack.

Product arrived, but about maybe 1/4th teaspoon leaked out of the package (not much really). Although considering it's Winter here, most of it was more solid. If it were like Summer time.. it could have been worse. My recommendation to those packaging this product, wrap some tape around it from top to bottom to help hold the cover on more tightly.However it tasted absolutely fantastic. Almost like a melt in your mouth feeling (besides the bees wax you can eat too). This is obviously not a product you want to consume in 5 mins. Take your time with it and enjoy it.My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the way the product was packaged. A little more could have been done to help prevent leaking, like enforcing the cover to stay down tighter with tape like suggested.

I really wanted to try natural honey and honeycombSurprise! Tasted like honey and wax!It was fun to try though!I miss being able to chew on Polly pockets because of the wax on this

We first discovered The Savannah Bee Company at a small touristy shop in Savannah, GA in 2015. We had gone there for a weekend getaway after leaving my Mamaw-in-law's home in Austell, GA. It was during that visit to Mamaw's home that we learned that she grew up eating honeycomb on biscuits. Sadly, she didn't have any so we couldn't try. Fast forward to the weekend and we found Savannah Bee Company honeycomb! We immediately bought one and the next weekend, headed to Mamaw to give her her gift. Boy, she was EXCITED! It brought her back to her youth and it was a lovely sight to see. In addition, she proceeded to make her homemade biscuits and showed us how to eat honeycomb on biscuits.Being that we were new to this, we didn't have much to go on. So we asked Mamaw for her opinion on the honeycomb and she said it "tastes just like she remembers it." The comb itself was flaky and tender and the honey was a smooth, soothing sweet that coated your biscuit like a silky glaze and melted in your mouth. Sadly, we had to move from GA. But imagine my surprise when we found The Savannah Bee Company on Amazon Prime. And it's honeycomb. We have been able to gift Mamaw with honeycomb every other month when they get restocked.Thank you for this.
