I’ve had this gun for almost 3 years and use it a couple times a year. I’ve never had any problems with it! This is a good starter kit for someone learning to tattoo. The ink is OK I’m not the biggest fan but again for a beginner it’s fine. The fake skin it comes with is terrible don’t even try with it, it cannot be compared to real skin, it is way too thin.

Can’t speak for battery life or how long the machine lasts as I’ve only been using it for a few weeks. I normally use a bishop but wanted to try out a cordless option. Wasn’t expecting much, but this little pen is great. I’m not the best artist, but I think it’s more about skill than the price of the tool. Works well.

I purchased this is as a gift for my son and he absolutely said it is one of the better quality tattoo kits that he has owned. It has a nice grip and is good for both big or small hands to use.The inks that came with the kit are not the best qualify but not they re not the worst either. My son has done many tattoos around 20 so far with this kit and all have turned out wonderful. I am happy that it came with all the necessary equipment for him to start out with. He has had no issues with any of the equipment or the needles. Will add some pictures to show of the tattoos he created with this kit, showing how good the quality is the use of the kit..

I'm far from being a professional artist and really only picked up the kit as a hobby to use on fake skin and maybe some small tattoos once I built up the skill and confidence. So far, my experience has been amazing! The kit includes everything you need to get started.Some things to note:-The kit only includes one pair of gloves, so I recommend picking up some more of these elsewhere.-I've not messed with the colored inks in the kit, but the packaging all the inks come in doesn't inspire confidence in using them on real skin. Like other reviews have mentioned, I'd pick up some higher-quality ink when tattooing real skin.- The tips seem to work great and I haven't had any issues, but again as other reviews have mentioned, I'd probably pick up some different tips when it came time to using this on actual skin----Honestly, for the price I can't think of a better option as a stepping stone into the art form of tattooing

not bad when it decides to work. when pressing the pedal sometimes the gun won’t work and i have to unplug then plug it back in for it to work for a minute or two before it stops again. the needles don’t stay in my gun and pop out. i’ve only used it three times because of these issues. it’s cheap and would probably be a good starter kit if it worked properly

I love these guys! Okay, so for starters always been eyeballing these tattoo kits and this is my first one. So I decided for first kit I'm gonna start off with the "Rotary pen style" just learn with that style and stick with it, so when my package arrived really quick I was super excited, open it up and see the other style of tattoo machine (in the pic) and was thinking "oh dang" they done screwed up my order. BUT, here's the cool butt...they just threw a curveball at me, it was just like a BONUS ITEM! Everything else that I expected was in the box packaged very nicely and very happy with so far too. And I'm glad they didn't send my any instructions I always just throw them away anyways, especially on something like this, if you can't figure this setup out, I don't recommend you buying it. seriously you simply screw the cartridge in one end and then simply twist the other end to adjust the needle up in down from the sleeve, and then stick a few plugs in here and there, you would actually have to try and screw it up to get it wrong! The 10-pack of inks are a bit small, but looks like perfect size to give a test run and see if you're gonna enjoy it, which is also really cool that they give ya the bigger bottle of black ink too, which my plans were to just get a big bottle of quality dark black before I start shooting ink in the real skin. So for now, loving the looks and feel of everything. I'll give an update when I fire her up and start slinging some ink, hopefully the reliability of it all is as cool as it seems so far! Been working on a sleeve and thought this may be more convenient then my coil guns.I like this for many reasons especially speed changing out without grabbing or setting up guns. e advantages for both depending on your style and comfort.Pros it's easy to hold and clearly built we'll. It interchanges with other brand tips and can work for both lining or shading without changing the gun.“ATTENTION!” Now that I have it I want to say those peoplen't unable to run there pens have a user issue not product. The reason is the machine will not run if it sense a Shafer needle in the Line plug or vice versus so you need to be sure you read instructions so you don’t post dumb reviews here. Save a little face.Only real Con is that it’s harder for me to see what I’m doing because the cartridges are larger than a cool tip. Its fine though and not enough to dock a star.Overall I give the kit less the ink 5 stars.Far as the ink please throw it out and buy extreme or some other ink. Get shader for tint and the top 10 colors you will use. You can always add more color along the way.
