Great for small tanks near limited outlets :)
I really like this air pump! My 2.5 gal shrimp tank wasn't getting enough surface agitation therefore had low oxygen levels which I needed to fix. I had a dilemma though since is the tank is on my bedroom dresser where there’s zero actual outlets so I’ve got a surge protector run from another wall but all the real outlets in it were already in use. It did however have a usb port open so I hit the jackpot when I found this rechargeable pump!It took mere minutes to setup, is small enough to fit in limited space & really quiet. I can’t even hear it versus the actual air stone bubbling & my floor fan. I normally can’t stand any light source while sleeping but the blue light faces up at my ceiling slightly lighting up the pitch black. I oddly found it soothing & had zero negative effects on my sleep, although I may tape over the lights no big deal to do.I used a different air stone then the one it came with just because my shrimp playground has little available floor space so I got one that suctions to the tank wall but the one it came with would work perfectly fine! This kit could use a backflow valve & flow adjuster but my other one came with that so worked for me but something to consider.I’m in Florida so should we have a bad storm I feel at ease knowing my shrimps will have air to get through it. Honestly I’m so impressed with it I’ve ordered two more units for my 5 gal betta tanks :)

Perfect aieration system
The battery lasts for a whole day and a half, and lasts indefinitely when plugged in, it's not a strong current air pump (which is good because my fish would be stressed if it was very strong). Simple and has 2 modes, a mode where it works nonestop and a mode where it works 10 sec and stops 10 sec. It's silent too.

Battery life is great.
This is perfect for home use and when we go gather more fish for the aquarium. The battery life last overnight plus some.

Does the job!
Works great, I bought this kind so that when I’m transporting my fish (I moved twice) or if the power goes out (we were having rolling blackouts) they don’t have to go without! I will say though, that overtime the vibration would shake the tube out and I’d have to reconnect every once in a while to the pack. It would always make a different noice when that would happen and I would catch it right away. But other than that, it does the job and I’ve gotten a lot of continuous use out of it.

Very concerning: Issue with charger/charging?
Been having trouble keeping the air pump continuously running. LESS than 6 months since I purchased and started using the air pump, and now I will likely NEED to get a better REPLACEMENT.I would have the air pump plugged in during the morning with all the charging bars full. Later in the evening or night the bars would be at 1 or 2 bars while the charging cable still plugged in. I then have to remove the cable and plug it back into the air pump charging port for the charging bar to show the “charging in progress” status. Many times my tank would be out of oxygen created by the air pump, throughout a portion of the day and other times the entire night while I’m asleep. This is VERY CONCERNING.The battery power seems to be reduced, but not significantly to me. The battery doesn’t last after being plugged in and charging while turned on at the same time. Not sure if the battery will last if I charge the pump without using it, but either way that will defeat the purpose of having an ongoing pump.Although the air pump is pretty quiet compared to many others I’ve tried with the similar power, it still makes a good amount of noise unless it’s placed about at least 3 feet away in another room at night when everything else is quiet. At first the pump was the best value for money, design, meets the needs for the amount of air flow I need.

Cheap Insurance the Help Keep Your Fish Alive in a Power Outage.
I currently have two AQQA Aquarium Rechargeable Air Pumps set up on two different tanks and am about to purchase a third for a new tank. While these aren’t my primary air sources, they serve as highly reliable redundant air supplies. I use them as a safety net during power outages in case the UPS systems on my tanks run out of power. Additionally, the rechargeable batteries can be easily topped up using a generator during extended outages, which is crucial for us since we live in a hurricane zone and have experienced week-long or longer power interruptions. The rechargeable feature adds incredible convenience and peace of mind. For the price, these pumps are cheap insurance to help keep your fish alive during power outages.

A lifesaver on a long move
This was a lifesaver, literally, on the long (2+hrs) move to our new home. I would move it back and forth between the large buckets that my fish were in during transporting, and it worked wonderfully! I was very worried about how the fish would handle the long move, but this really helped a lot. And now that we are done with moving, I have it if I need a battery back-up in case of a power outage, which again would be a life saving event. I have freshwater angel fish that I've raised since they were very young and I am very attached to them, as I am all of my babies. I always get comments on how large they are and people always seem shocked by their size, so I take some pride in knowing that I've done well with raising them. The pump is small enough that it won't be in the way, or be unsightly while using, and it's powerful enough that it will help keep your fish alive over long periods without electricity. I am very thankful that it worked so well for our move. And I still have it to use as a failsafe in case of power outages. If you really care about your fish, as I do, I would definitely recommend having at least one, probably a couple depending on tank size and how many fish and their size. I am planning on getting at least 2 more to use as backups for my 55 gallon tank. I highly recommend this pump for anyone needing to have a battery backup pump for their tanks.
