Great product for the money!
Installation was a breeze... the vanes are surprisingly sturdy.... as for static, there was a little but easily remedied by wiping with dryer sheets.

Blinds
Beautiful blinds we just used the blinds on our old frame and saved the hardware for later use. They worked great

Sturdy and easy to install
I bought the blinds to replace one in dining room. It took 20 minutes to install. The blinds are thick, firm and great at keeping sunlight out. I plan to order another for my living room.

Not good quality
Extremely hard to shut the blinds. Ended up returning them within a week.

Vertical Blind
This was a tangled twisted mess when the maintenance man opened the box to install the vertical blind. It was lying flat on the floor for 5 mo. Before he could install it. I was very disappointed, and thank God he had one in the garage he gave me and installed. I was most grateful for that. I figured I was past my return time, also it was out of the box it was such a mess. I didn't bother trying to returning it.

Good product but with a couple of minor issues
These blinds were as advertised and are generally good. They were easy enough to install and being able to operate them without pull cords, which most vertical blinds use, is a plus if you have small kids around who could get caught up in the cords and choke themselves. Yeah, that's highly unlikely, but it could happen and who would want to be part of that horror story?!The blinds have two minor issues: First, when you open and close the blinds using the pull rod, the slats don't glide easily in the metal track, so the file is not smooth and high-quality. They work but don't feel so great -- sort of like a cheap car whose doors don't close with a satisfying "thunk." Maybe some silicon spray would help; I plan to try that. Second, the blinds are held in position by small plastic gears with lots of teeth. If you're not careful as you use the blinds, one or two slats click past their proper teeth and become misaligned. To realign them, you have to take the whole thing apart. It's not that tough to do, but it's annoying to have to do it. Presumably now that you're warned you'll be more careful to make sure all the slats are properly aligned before you push the blinds open or pull them closed. In all, not a bad product. They look nice installed and once you know how to use them properly they should serve you well.
