Festive cookies
I bought these to send to our adult daughter in her birthday box. She said they were a fun and festive touch to the package. I would order them again.

Super dense - cookie?? cake?
These No Whey Foods - Birthday Cake Cookies are seriously heavy and dense. The texture is a disappointment. It's more like an energy bar, solid. I don't want that in a treat. I also found it to be excessively sweet but without the joy of tasting great. My husband didn't mind it as much, but he eats lots of bars after bike rides. For him, it would have been ok with some chocolate.I've tried lots of GF/vegan baked goods and made plenty of my own. It doesn't have to be like this. We've also enjoyed other No Whey items. We know they can do better.

Allergy-friendly and delicious. No Whey! does it again.
My youngest son has food allergies, and No Whey! has long been a trusted brand for us. We love, love, love their candy but had not tried their baked goods before now. My boys, ages 3 and 8, were SO excited to try these! Here's the thing: If you or your kid isn't on a restricted diet because of allergies, intolerances, dietary choices, or other reasons, these might be a bit of a tough sell. Because they don't taste, smell, or feel in your mouth like Chips Ahoy, or whatever comes to mind when you say "cookie." They're made with chickpea flour and they're vegan. And, to be honest, they taste like all of the above.BUT! If you're like our family, and your "fun" food options are limited by allergies or anything else, these cookies are a great option. My kids are obsessed with them now.I like that each cookie comes individually wrapped. They're the perfect size for sharing, and because of both the literal and nutritive density of the chickpea flour, half a cookie is enough to keep you snacked up for awhile. They are super messy, though. For us, this would rule out this flavor, at least, as an on-the-go snack. At my house, these were eaten at the table, over a plate, period.I thought the sprinkles were a bit waxy, myself, but my kids didn't mind. The cookies are definitely greasy, though. Have wet wipes handy for afterwards.Price-wise, I would say these are on par with other allergy-friendly, specialty brand snacks. They're quite similar to Rule Breaker cookies, actually, which are, I think, about the same cost per cookie. (And, by way of comparison, my oldest told me to mention that they like these No Whey! birthday cake cookies much better than the Rule Breaker ones.)Because I regularly order from No Whey! directly, were I to buy these again, I would do that and wait until around any holiday when they offer free shipping. That would take some of the sting out of the actual item cost.Overall, these cookies were a huge hit in our family. My little guy was over the moon when I handed him such a bright, colorful, FUN cookie and said it was safe for him. No Whey! is awesome. I will definitely be getting more of these.

Pasty, doughy, thick protein bar with sprinkles.
Really disappointed 😞Cookies weren’t appetizing at all. They looked like they’d had a rough time in transport (I get that happens and can forgive it) but they looked gross. It tasted like a thick tasteless protein bar with sprinkles. I don’t like to do negative reviews too often but I was really expecting something different. I wish I would have read the previous reviews beforehand.

Really tasty
The icing was a little on the gray side but the colorful sprinkles made it look festive and the cookies are really tasty.

Disappointed
I didn’t like the taste or texture of this cookie. I threw the second one away.

A single small cookie.
It says a 3 pack. I got a single cookie. I tried to do a return with inaccurate description, says it is not eligible for a return. About $14 for a single cookie the size of the inside of my palm.
