This glass nail filer works just as described! I used it on my sister’s natural nails and it was wonderful. The filer worked wonderfully and left the nail perfect. I love that I can rinse it off and it will be clean again and last forever! The case seems to be a bit of lower quality but is perfect to store the nail filer. Loved this purchase!

I've had this nail file for 2 years now. It is still going strong. It is maintaining some scuff marks on it, but after 2 years and being bounced around in a moving box for 3 days straight, I am more than pleased.Obviously, if you drop this, it might break. I have dropped it once or twice in the case. The case does not stay closed well now, but the file is safe!It works well. It causes less sensory issues for me than a regular file. The more I exposed myself to the sensation, the more I began to prefer it over regular nail clippers.I'd love for them to make a shorter version for toes. Love this file!Colors are accurate, it is durable, the size is perfect for filing your fingernails and most toe nails.

I'm never gonna use another nail file. For years I had issues with standard nail files ripping my nails up so bad that they would literally peel like an onion after filing. I didn't know at the time, but it was because the nail files were too abrasive. This one was recommended on some Reddit threads for people with fragile nails. Apparently, glass files are the best way to file nails, as you can control the pressure and they don't degrade as quick.My gosh, my nails are so soft now. I no longer struggle with re-filing nails due to sharp leftover edges. These create soft, round nails and do not destroy the edge. Oh, and the price is great - Sally's Beauty did not even have any glass nail files in stock. So worth it!My husband complains about the noise/feel when he uses it, so if you're sensitive to those things - be aware!

Elegant mail accessory, which does good filing, not just looking good.Silver case protects the file when not in use, and looks cool enough to have out, not hidden in drawer as we do for mist files!

The file itself is nice. You can tell that the file part isn't sprayed on, and it is in fact etched, so this should last as long as I don't break it. The pearly finish on the side you hold however, does appear (to me) to be sprayed on, so the longevity of that aspect is still up for debate, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the piece. It is also worth noting that the case is simply made of plastic, not metal like you might think. But it seems like it will be okay for protecting the file while it isn't in use, as long as you aren't too rough with it. I've seen other glass files that come with leather cases as well, but this seems like a better option for overall protection, even though it looks/is cheap.This is my first glass nail file, and I will say that although it is a different feel from the disposable ones I am used to, it isn't offensive. And considering it will last an indefinite number of years, I think it should save money in the long run. If I were rating only the glass file, I would have given 5 stars, but my rating for the entire product is 4 because of the somewhat cheap case, which I don't foresee aging well.

I am so glad that I decided to purchase one of these files. I have very soft nails, due to a medical condition, and half the time when a nail grows to what I would consider an acceptable length, it gets caught on something and I have to cut it shorter because a file won't work on it. I use normal emery boards because I don't think the metal files work well on soft nails like mine. It's a never-ending, annoying process that I believe this glass file will remedy. The glass file feels even softer and works so well. I have used it three times, always filing in one direction, and it has saved two nails that would have broken in the past. I wasn't aware that glass files that could be used on natural nails even existed. I highly recommend this file to others and plan on purchasing one for my daughter and my sister in the futureI

Perfect for Natural Nails! I love that it came with a case too:) They are glass files if dropped will break. I have bought 3 so far and will buy more for gifts:)
