Easy to adjust to fit our older motor home
Latter was able to adjust to our motor home and replace the older one. Latter was good quality.

Seemed to be a good design
I bought this for a camper I had, but ended up selling before I installed the ladder. Directions for installation were very straightforward.

Good for sloped back diesel pushers
I have a class A diesel pusher with a back cap that is angled in the middle. This causes the mounting point on top of the roof to be farther away from the mounting point for the bottom of the ladder. This ladder was long enough in the top (Horizontal portion of ladder) and with the hinges to fit despite the angled back.

great price great quality would buy again came with alot of hardware
i think this ladder very light but is very sturdy im 180 pounds no bending or flexing the guy that gave this ladder bad reviews probly over 250 pounds sure this ladder or most ladder in a hardware store would not support them!! instructions not that great if u alittle handy u will figure it out

OK:(Yes i do agree its not the easiest assembly project I've performed! BUT having a mechanical/aviation background, a little brain warpage went along with this project... BTW, I'm not Hazel Belle writing this review! I'm her companion Peter S. ... without going too boring I'll just cut the crap and say I'm not pleased with this product...THE only thing that concerns me is the standoffs. The radius produced at the end each tube was not sufficient!!! I had to get creative and produce a more sufficient radius! The support flange brackets fit more snugly now!!! This ladder is still going to be used btw...OVERALL, Being a veteran, I am proud to have purchased a 'MADE IN THE USA' product!!!

Perfect replacement
I contacted the seller (surco) with some questions I had on the ladder's dimensions, was very helpful with a quick response. Ladder installed perfect!

The ladder is very lightweight and sturdy. Bolts up easily. I thought the hinged version meant that it folded in half as to not keep it down all the time. I have an older rv with a access door in the back and with the ladder down I can't get it open. The old ladder flipped up and clamped together. I only get on the roof once or twice a year so it's no big deal, so I keep the bottom half of the ladder off since I fill my fresh water tank thru that door every trip. It is a good product and a good value.
