I finally decided to try these after the drain smell was intolerable. I purchased a pack from the store first. After a while, I decided to keep more on hand and buy from my favorite source, Amazon! They seem to work just as described on the packaging. Because it is a fantastic product, I realized I could get them here, a few packages at a time, and it's worth it. I often put them in all the drains, especially the kitchen sink. Eliminates odor and unclogs the drains faster than expected.

I purchased another brand of this product prior to this purchase which worked great.I bought this brand because it cost less and came with more sticks.The old saying, " You get what you pay for " applies here.Unlike the other brand that cost more, these drain cleaning sticks were of smaller diameter, brittle and broke and crumbled easily making them useless.The other brand's sticks were thicker and flexible making it easier to put in the drain without fear of breaking them.While I am sure these sticks, when not broken and washing down the drain are effective the durability of the product is lacking, and I will not by this brand again.

When used on a regular basis it does keep drains clear.
