Excellent scissors
These scissors are amazing. We needed something that we could use in the barn to cut bailing twine with from bales of hay and straw. My mother and I both have arthritis in her hands so we needed something that was easy to use and Sharp enough to work. These things I think it cut through just about anything. They’re not too heavy. They fit the hand very nicely for both men and women and don’t require a lot of force or strength to cut. If you’re looking for a good pair of shears, that is extremely sharp highly recommend these. We’ve had our pair for two years now and going strong.

Awesome and got the job done!
Got these for the specific purpose of cutting a garden hose as well as knowing they'd hopefully be good for anything else around the house, i.e. general use. They did the job flawlessly and now my hose is fixed (repair kit in another review) and I have a solid pair of shears. They feel good, are sharp, and are easy to use (I mean...shears come on)

Great scissors for almost every task
Sharp as heck and very easy to use. Cuts through anything with no complaints. The size is very large so not ideal for every single task, but definitely a great value. The offset blades are really nice but can be awkward to handle with the weight.

Crescent utility scissors ✂️ DURABLE!
I purchased this pair of Crescent utility scissors after finally going on sale. What a score, i purchased for many reasons but needed desperately for a project which would involve cutting of heavier pvc materials and wire. These are big, sturdy, and have a decent weight without feeling heavy. The quality is fantastic, smooth blades that slice with ease in fluid lines without getting caught up. The handles have generous dimensions compared to many utility scissors. They do not have a spring-load, but have no issue handling heavier tasks. These are very rigid and the durability goes without question. The coating on the steele looks as if they'll stay protected from wear and tear for a very long time. Cut like a knife through butter, even my father complimented my choice in utility shears. I have larger hands as a female, myself and my father had no issues fitting our hands and found the space very generous. I could suggest some type of silicone lining/coat that would buffer the rigid feel where your fingers go through the loop. I found that after just a few moments using, the rubbing of hard material against the fat pad on thumb and index finger became sore, almost cramped because they are not cushioned or soft-coated on friction points. I do believe, for myself, I'd end up with blisters. My dad said to suck it up😅, but it is a factor that absolutely affects my experience and comfort level. I had to take a few breaks to rest my hand as I found the lack of cushion to bother my hand. The shears work phenomenally, they will handle any heavy project. Definitely a multitasker to add to your kitchen or toolbox. I am very pleased with this purchase, they'll be around a long time. The sale gave me the nudge to purchase, I'd assume most out there looking for quality shears would still pay the original price. I waited for them to drop, therefore the VALUE fit the bill with that nice price drop. Recommended highly.

Powerful alternative to scissors for hard cutting jobs
The media could not be loaded. For when normal scissors just won’t cut it. I was doing a lot of custom canvas fabrication and my hands were getting tired. I figured these shears were a gamble, but worth a try. Now, I bought two more and this is all I use for daily cutting. Packaging, zip ties, layers of tarpaulin canvas, rope. The two blades are bolted tight together at the perfect tolerance so you get a powerful clean cut even when snipping heavy material with the tip of the shears. It’s like having a precision bolt cutter. No blade deflection like normal scissors. The leverage and power is life-changing. No more tired hands. Feels like the shears are doing the work for you. They have stayed sharp for the past month of daily hard use. They’re micro-serrated so not exactly sharpenable, but for me it’s a worthwhile consumable product. For large hands only, it seems. The handle is too large for small hands. Seems like all the benefits go away if you have smaller hands.

Sharp, durable, but a little heavy
I use these shears mainly to cut cardboard, thick landscape fabric, and plastic sheets. The shears does a fantastic job at it. Very sharp, cuts through items like butter, and appears very durable. However, these shears are a little on the heavy side for this female with small, dainty hands. The handles are extremely large, and it’s difficult to use the shears without some minor modification. To make it easier for me to operate the shears, I have minimized the size of the handle holes by taping it with several rounds of soft tape. With this setup, it’s now very comfortable for me to use the shears.
