Feels great, nice and quiet too
Previously, I was using a drum practise pad that was just sitting on my snare, but it still felt very dead compared to the bounce from a proper skin.So I bought this, in the hopes I'd get the rebound - and yes, it's much better. Volume is obviously a bit higher than the pad, but as long as I keep the snare wires off, it's still not loud enough to bother others in the house.Mesh heads, and Centren low volume cymbals have revolutionised my practise, and my relationship with the neighbours!

Excellent rebound!
Well priced very responsive, Exactly if not better than I expected!

Lasted 2 hours
I’ve had Evan’s heads before so I thought I’d be getting a quality item. I don’t play in a band, I just play at home a couple of hours a week. This head lasted roughly 2 hours before tearing. I expected a lot better

Usual high quality Evan's product.
Good, much spongier feel than a real drum head, but essential for those lockdown licks.

Not as good as hoped!
Reducing sound from snare drum but moves around too much on drum .

bouncy and risk to bearing edges ?
Many reviewers note mesh heads have a lot of rebound - I couldnt tune this out. Also lots of web forum chat on risk to bearing edges - seems unlikely to me but not worth the risk on a decent kit

Great sound
No complaints at all. Produces a surprisingly good tone and feels like it'll last a long time.
