This was a gift for my daughter. She loves it and it’s a perfect size! No choking hazards and she’s learning how to use these different products. She loves to watch me do my make up so it’s fun for her to be able to “do” hers too!! There’s no sound and this is a super durable product! Considering my 2 year old has had it for a while!! Cute and fun for kids!

We got this for my (then 2.5 year old) daughter for Christmas and she was immediately obsessed. She loves all the different pieces that come with it and the variety of imaginative party it gives her. She can do makeup, pretend to paint her nails (with the lip gloss), do face painting, put jewelery in the box, etc. She uses it almost every day for the past 7 months. Get it!

Purchased for a one year old, and my 4 and 2 year old love it too! Super durable and great for pretend play. It’s all travel friendly.

I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter and it arrived today. I can already tell it’s a 10 out of 10 toy. One thing she loves is painting nails. The problem is, after all our nails are painted she still wants to keep going. The fun ends too quickly. One day she came across an unused paint brush and she pretended to paint my nails over and over for a few days. That’s when I thought this toy might actually go over really well rather than frustrating her due to the lack of paint.Upon opening the delivery box she immediately gasped and wanted to play. She might have been confused or disappointed by the lack of paint for maybe 10 seconds. I started following the activity card and showing her how to use all the accessories. By that point she was hooked! We played nail shop for 45 minutes straight until I had to insist we go pick up her brother from school. She brought a few polish bottles with her for the ride!I like all of the accessories included so she has realistic play. The polish bottles and brushes are slightly oversized and the other accessories are a thick plastic, so everything should be durable in little hands. I love that the clear plastic shelf is functional and that all the accessories (besides the bowl and dryer) store on it, including grooves to hold the color guide and the activity card. I see her looking at the pictures on the activity card and trying to follow along, so I’m glad it has a dedicated spot so we won’t lose it. Neither me nor my daughter are particularly girly, but this is an incredibly adorable play set! The price is decent and with a name like Melissa and Doug backing it, I wouldn’t hesitate to gift it or recommend it to others.

I think it’s good to keep my 23 mo’s attention for about 20 mins which is fair and she regularly picks the makeup up and tries to do hers and mine. The eyeshadows, blushes, contour to take the realness up a level. My complaint is that she was able to break all the tops off the pallets of blushes eyeshadows etc and some go back on and some the little piece to keep it in snapped or bent so it won’t fully function right anymore and I feel like the design of the lid makes it a little hard for kids to open just cuz the handles right over the notch to open. Just needs a slight better design and ease of use for 5 stars

Perfect gift for my daughter’s third birthday! She was very delighted to receive this gift and had been pretending to give everyone makeovers. Happily, it is all washable, too. I learned this when she brought it outside and covered the whole set in dirt and sunscreen.
