A very nice smell that is so strong it will burn your eyes
This is a single bar of soap, 150gm - so about the size of 1 1/2 bars of soap like you get in the grocery store today.I love sandalwood. The smell is very uplifting to me. I've bought sandalwood scented soaps before, but they weren't pure. I wanted to try a pure sandalwood soap one time in my life. I knew it would not be cheap. This bar of soap cost me twenty bucks and took about two or three months to be shipped to me from India. If you love sandalwood like I do, this is absolutely worth it. It's the pure smell of sandalwood, not the smoky - sooty smell of incense. But it's very very strong. For the month or so that I had to enjoy this soap any time you went into my bathroom the smell would burn your eyes. In a good way.But good things never last and eventually the soap was used up. This was about a year ago. I will probably never buy this soap again because it's just too dam expensive for me. (I misspelled that on purpose)

Premium is an understatement
I had the Mysore centennial edition and that used to be my favorite soap. The millennium edition blew my previous favorite out of the water. The scent is a mix of photorealistic sandalwood and warm spices. The scent is so strong my entire bathroom lightly smells of this soap at all times.9/10 the only issue is it's high price but it's worth it.

Strong chemical fragrance,definitely not Sandalwood.
After devotedly using Mysore Sandalwood original for years, decide to give this a try..Was expecting an intoxicating pure Sandalwood fragrance, got a chemical smelling sting soap. I could have bought 6-7 months supply of the original for the price of this one soap. I think they should have stuck to their roots and provided an indulging experience of real Sandalwood bath I grew up with for this premium price!!

Sandalwood Album
This is the real thing. As far as the customer who had the date redacted, this is unfortunate, however, that said, even an older than two years bar of soap of this product should prove to better than any soap you’ll buy elsewhere. I buy standard Mysore Sandalsoap, locally, and occasionally one of the Indian Markets has this soap for sale past the point of expiration, yet it is still good soap. If you can afford to go to Indian, try to come back with a box of this soap. As far as “sandalwood album” oil goes, you really can’t trust local vendor in the US currently. Your best bet is Quintis owned Mount Romance in Australia, but even then you need to carefully select your product choice, meaning do NOT confuse indigenus to Australia Santalum Spicitum with plantation grown Santalum Album. The difference is copper versus gold. You can either wince at the price, or else wince that your “bargain” vendor based in the US sold you adulturated, prematurely harvested, poached or otherwise, untrustable sandalwood album. You want the real thing? Mysore from India, or Quintis from Australia, until the supply problem in India is corrected.

An excellent soap
This is definitely a special occasion luxury purchase. The price in India is $12-$15 a bar, so this is certainly overpriced but hard to come by in the USA. The soap itself is pretty much without equal. Unlike many "sandalwood" soaps (and even the regular Mysore Sandal Soap), you can actually smell Indian sandalwood oil (santalum album) while lathering and all day on your skin after you bathe, and the soap is pretty moisturizing. Perhaps sensing this is not an everyday soap, the manufacturer packs it in a sealable and reusable plastic tray. I would definitely purchase again for special occssions.

You Must Try This Sandal Soap at least once in your life.
This Mysore Millennium Sandal Soap smells absolutely heavenly. Such incredibly sweet sandal aroma comes from this luxurious soap. This is pure luxury at it's finest from India. This isn't your ordinary sandal soap, Millennium Soap has been highly refined and it's Sandal aromas have been greatly concentrated to give off this very strong perfumey sandal aroma whenever you use it. It is worth every penny.

3,790.28 rupees for two bars of soap
This soap seems to have antiseptic properties! The scent is to die for, and at over $25 for a bar of soap? I bought 2 bars for over $50, and won't likely purchase more due to the RIDICULOUS price gouge. Exchange rate:$25.51 x 2 = 3,790.28 rupees
