Necessary to insulated water bottles
Necessary little thing. If you own insulated water bottles that get used often, these things are a must. After repeated use of your water bottle the ring around the lid gets moldy and mildew smelling NO MATTER HOW OFTEN YOU WASH IT. So to get around that you purchase these. They go on well, do their non-leaking duty and they don't smell....Yet. It's s the nature of the best these rings are made of to not last forever.

Didn’t fit my water bottle
Bought this for a knockoff of the Swell water bottle that I bought at Target many years ago. Unfortunately these did not fit the cap so I had to return them.

They worked, but thin
This gasket worked for my stainless steel bottle lid, but it is significantly thinner than the original gasket that had to be replaced. I hope it will last.

Works as intended
It fits on my insulated bottle perfectly, no more leaks! I could have bought a brand new bottle for cheaper though!! Mine is fine, had it for years and my only problem was the seal ring split recently. I'd rather save it with this new seal than wasting a perfectly good metal bottle so I went for it... but I think it's overpriced for just for 3 rings, hence 4 stars instead of 5.

These things are GREAT!
For some unknown reason, one (or both) of my boys decided it was a good idea to remove the original silicone rings from the water bottle lids. Then they are found laying around and get tossed. Next thing you know, their papers are getting wet in their school bags.Rather than get rid of perfectly good insulated metal water bottles, I decided to search for replacement rings. These things are great. No more leaks! And yes, I instructed BOTH kids to not pull the rings off - they are there for a reason.
