Worked well! I took this on several trips, including 2 kayaking trips and a trip in a high speed boat and it worked great! I decided to see if it was true that I could take pictures with my phone inside it, and it actually does work pretty well. It was a little awkward trying to press the power button to wake my phone up, but I was able to take pictures and they turned out fine. It got splashed heavily when the waves got choppy while kayaking, but my phone stayed dry. I would definitely recommend it. I have a pretty large phone (almost 7" long) and it fit comfortably inside the XL size. I do warn you that if you order the twin pack, Amazon might send you a single pack (that happened twice to me) so it was really a pain because I had to call customer service and explain everything (because it had been on sale, it wouldn't allow me to just do an automatic return).

We took these to the beach, on a speedboat, a catamaran, and even diving. The pouches worked perfectly, never leaked, and were able to easily float with our phones and wallets in them. They do get a bit warm, and the touchscreen doesn't work under water, but all you have to do is start recording before you submerge it, or use the volume buttons to trigger your shutter.

I bought a 2 pack of pelican waterproof phone cases for myself and my mom to take kayaking with us. I tested them the day before to ensure they worked, and this left the camera a little bit blurry due to the water drying on the plastic I guess. But they are waterproof, and they do float. I got mine soaked for quite a few hours, and it never got into the case. We were in the hot sun too, and it didn't melt which impressed me. That plastic is notorious for being melty.The camera works well with it, I took several pictures that look great and you can't tell it's in a plastic case. I will say that I have a larger phone and the selfie camera was an absolute no go with this case. It cuts off the top of the photo and you have to actually try and manuever the phone downward for it to even halfway work, but there really isn't enough room. It is definitely a tight fit. My mom's photos also looked good, I'm not sure about her selfie camera. The only thing is you have to make sure the plastic is cleaned and no water is dried near the camera.I have a Samsung s21 Ultra and I did have to remove my Unicorn Beetle Supcase, which is similar to the size of an otter box case. It did just barely fit with the case on, but I was not confident about it staying closed and waterproof with the case so I just removed it and it worked fine. I had no problem using my phone in the pelican case, and it was able to keep it safe from harm (i dropped it, whoops). Overall I would rate this product higher if not for my mom's experience.My mom has one of the newer iPhones, I believe a 13. She has just a regular small case on hers and did not have to remove it for it to fit inside the waterproof pelican case. She mentioned that it was difficult to call and had to remove it from the pelican case to call, she was having issues with the touch screen, she mentioned that her phone overheated and wouldn't allow her to use it a few times, (mine didn't do that, I don't think Samsung does that. but I also was getting mine in the water so that might have been cooler.)Overall, this product does what it says it does, It is completely waterproof and does float for a time. I don't think it would float forever because of the way it is designed it would probably eventually run out of air pockets and sink, but you would have a good bit to get to it if you dropped it before it drowned. I like the brightly colored lanyard for high visibility as well, I am just glad I made this purchase overall.

Loved the fact that this case also floats if you let it go and won’t sink to the bottom. I also think the plastic is durable and didn’t have much problem with taking pictures. Pictures came out good for the most part. Only issue was that once moisture gets into the inside it’s not easy to dry out.

Works just as described. Fit my iPhone 16e fairly snug. Did the water test with a tissue in the case, submerged for 15 minutes. Came out dry. I'm able to use the touch screen and the side buttons. Have to search around a little for the side buttons, but they work Actually got the face recognition to work one time, but using the code is easy.

Really great product, we got these for our trip to the beach. They worked great. Not one drop of water got to our devices. We'll made durable material and waterproof. I would definitely buy these again if I ever need a replacement.

I keep my phone in this case when I sail my small sailboat and I it has a lot going for it. The clasp is secure and watertight. The plastic covering the screen is hard enough not to get cut when I'm rough with it, i.e. climbing in the boat and sandwiching it between me and the side. It's pretty easy to use, even when wet since the case is designed to keep the plastic just off the screen - not sure about underwater yet. I'm a fan of the strength of the plastic loop on the top of the case as well, while it looks thin in the amazon picture, it has some depth so it's pretty solid. Some cases have flimsy attachment points and I've had to swim for a phone before. It is not capable of recognizing my face (I use an iphone XR contained in a second slim case without a screen protect) but I've never had a waterproof case that did so it's a hard thing to complain about.As advertised it floats quite readily. Using the edges of the case to contain the foam makes the case more streamlined than some and also protects the phone. There's some bulk to it's unavoidable in a floating case.Last, the strap made of really tough material, I have a slight concern that if I caught it on something it might strangle me climbing back into the boat. I will probably add a plastic buckle on the loop for that reason. The plastic hook that connects it to the phone is not as robust but is pretty much what I wanted/expected.I'd love some brighter colors but otherwise it's perfect for my needs.
