Had many freeze dried fruits before, but these are my favourite pineapple. Good quality consistent pieces, which have a satisfying crunch. Comes in a resealable bag for freshness. Makes a really good, healthier snack (though watch out for the sugar content!).

Easy way to add fruit to your diet if you struggle to eat fresh fruit before it goes bad. Perfect for baking and adding to things like cereal/oats. Similar to raisins and could be eaten alone like a snack.

Freeze dried foods will never ease to confuse me, they’re always so light and feel like they couldn’t possibly be food, then you add moisture and it’s a whole new ball game. These are no exception and whether you choose to eat them straight as a snack or use as cereal or cake toppers they’re really tasty. You get a good amount for the price and I’ve not had any dud pieces so far. They’re not overly crunchy or dry and as mentioned above, become almost fresh in its taste when you add moisture back in. Would recommend

I hadn't tried freeze dried fruit before, but liked the look of these pineapple tidbits as they're 100% natural, with no added sugar or preservatives. I love all fruits, but pineapple is probably my least favourite as it's so sweet, so I did wonder whether in this concentrated form it would be to my taste. I have to say that it wasn't to begin with, as I was reminded of the one time I tried apple crisps - never again! Crisps should be savoury, and both apple and pineapple are far too sweet to be turned into crisps - and fruit isn't meant to be dry, crispy and crunchy!However, my opinion changed about this product when I cooked a few pieces with my morning porridge, as it was transformed into what looked and tasted like fresh pineapple. I'm not much of a cook, but I imagine it would also work well in cakes and desserts. In this format it's very handy too as it's not going to go off - and fresh pineapple doesn't keep well at all. I probably won't be buying pineapple again, but I would like to try other freeze dried fruit from Honeyberry, so on that basis, I'm happy to recommend these pineapple tidbits to anyone who's a bigger fan of pineapple than me.

My teen aged kids introduced me to the world of freeze dried food and so I was very curious to try freeze dried fruit pieces to see what they would be like. I had worried they might be a bit bland and crumbly but actually these pineapple pieces are delicious, very moreish and even my kids declared them as amazing!Obviously the pieces are dry, but they are pleasant to eat and don't just crumble to dust in your mouth. I was glad the pieces aren't too small, but the perfect size for snacking on. The freeze drying really makes the pineapple flavour pop in your mouth and we are certainly going to be trying other fruit options in the range to see if they are as yummy too.

It will not surprise you these taste like pineapple, but they really taste of pineapple.When you get the pouch you'll be unimpressed with the weight of them and might start to think you've been ripped off, only you haven't. The pouch is actually pretty full. The lack of weight is because the moisture has been removed and pineapples are largely made from water.They have a nice sharp taste to them. Hardly any of the taste sensation has been lessened from the freeze drying process.They're really moreish, I'm warning of that now.The foil pouch is sealed from factory and is clearly labelled. It has an ingredients list, an expiry date and a strip to reseal it.They make for a very healthy snack. They have a bit of crunch to them too similar to lightly fried toast only very fruity. Really tasty, easy to eat and your missus might thank you for switching to these. ;)

Lovely flavour, crisp and fruity, definitely good for packed lunches and snacking, however, as someone who regularly eats pineapple, the negative side of eating these, is, that if you eat more than a small handful (for me at least) the pineapple tongue effect is so painful.I had probably about 8 pieces at most and initially noticed the soreness that pineapple brings, so stopped snacking on them. The next day my tongue felt like I'd drunk a scalding hot drink. All I could manage was to drink cold milk to help.It's now 5 days since I ate the 8 bits and my tongue although is improved, is still so sore.I cant help feeling that the rest will be thrown out at such a waste as I can't bear the thought of having the same issue again?So, to sum up, really tasty and may well work well as a flavouring in buttercream or something similar, but the effects of the Bromelain really seem to be accentuated.

Full of taste!Good size, perfect for sucking on as a snack or - in my case - adding them to cereals or cottage cheese.I'm really becoming a massive fan of freeze dried fruit as they preserve the taste really nicely and melt in my mouth.These pineapple chunks from Honeyberry are really great and - thanks to being freeze dried - I can enjoy them much longer without the fruit being spoiled.
