If works perfectly as a way of using my optical soundbar as a speaker for my PC. It came with the USB power cable and a optical cable.Simple and does what it says on the tin.

This is excellent and value for money.Many audio devices including computers do not have an optical out, using a long standard RCA cable is expensive and susceptible to interference, it is also bulky.Using this device to connect to a lossless and unobtrusive toslink optical cable provides a connection into most HiFi or AV systems and a cheap DAC can return it to RCA if required.... The product works as describedIt's easy to use, just plug in the correct cables in and you're good to go. The only issue I have with it is that you can. Sometimes hear a scraping noise. I find that changing the position of the converter helps.Overall its OK it does what it should.

The first I used to connect my Naim CD 5 Analogue Cd player to the digital input of my Denon AVR. I think it sounds better than using the analogue input on the Denon. The 2nd I use with a Roberts 94L Radio feeding another Denon amp and using a digital switch to share the output from a TV. Also sounds good.

Love it. Plugged 1 end in to head phone socket of old tv other end optic lead in to soundbar and works brilliant..
