I wish I'd know about this twenty years ago. When I moved and found a new piano tuner, he recommended installing a humidity control apparatus under the piano. And this is the product he insisted on using. We purchase it as needed, and mix it with our tap water to keep the piano healthy. It's doing a fine job of keeping the wood from drying out. We live in an area where winters are very cold and dry, and the furnace removes every molecule of humidity from the air. The piano needs its beauty regime, and this is it. I highly recommend!

Only one capful is used per treatment with a dehumidifier attached to a piano. It's the only product that I know that I can use; this size bottle will last about 18 months.
