Amazing monitor & amazing stand
Added this monitor to my setup as a second monitor. I purchased the one with the ergo stand. Very easy to setup and install. The stand by far exceeded my expectations. It swivels with ease and takes up minimal desk real estate. The picture quality breathtaking. I work from home and love that I can rotate/pivot this monitor so easily into and out of portrait mode. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great value for the price
First I will say I haven't purchased anything other than cinema displays for a long, long time but the price point on them has gotten ridiculous. After a lot of searching I settled on this monitor for the price and value given I wanted dual monitors with ergo stands and didn't want to go through building it all myself. To other people's comment the anti-glare is there but I think it is fine (for the price) compared to the glare issues that come without it. That is six of one, a half dozen of the other in my opinion. You definitely want to use an HDMI connect. USB-C is terrible and lacks features. If you are using HDMI then I have not had any issues with recognition, waking up etc. I did have to go in and turn off the auto color settings in OSX and on the monitor but once I did that, the colors are plenty true. If you are a professional photographer / videographer they might not be perfect enough for you but I do a ton of hobby DSLR photography and videography and it has been fine. If I'm super worried I sanity check on my MBP screen. The speakers are monitor speakers. I would prefer they just leave them out of monitors all together but don't look for those to be amazing. Again for the price, features and quality I think this is a very solid product.

Excellent monitors. Great stands
Purchase these to add to my computer that I do my Christmas light sequencing on. I wanted one monitor to use with the sequence display and one with the actual sequence. These monitors and their stand are amazing and I could not be happier with this purchase absolutely does everything it says will do. The stands are perfect. The monitors swinging around to move easily their extra ergonomic. I love these monitors I would love more of these and bigger sizes. What a great option.

Stand is amazing, brightness and color not up to pro standards, here's my Mac calibration settings…
The stand is gorgeous, solid, very versatile and easy to move, plus has a channel to run cables, very nice!!! The display itself is great, but not very bright, and absolutely does NOT come "calibrated" out of the box like some of the reviews I've seen. It took several attempts with different brightness/contrast settings using the advanced options in the macOS Display Calibrator app to get to a usable calibration.First, with the display's setting joystick/button, go to Picture Adjust and set the sharpness to zero, and turn off super resolution. Then from the macOS System Preferences/Displays, set your display to it's full resolution of 3840x2160. (hold option while clicking on "Scaled" to show full list of resolutions) Then hold option when clicking on the Calibrate button and check "Expert Mode" and then continue. Don't do as it says with max contrast and then dropping brightness, it won't work, they'll never match. My latest and best calibration so far was with 100 brightness and 70 contrast. When doing the five different curve response tests that follow (with the two boxes with apple logos in them) be sure your display is set to 3840x2160 as noted above, otherwise the single rows of alternating black and white pixels become distorted and won't be accurate. For all 5 curve tests, I only adjusted the left sliders for the light/dark, did not touch the color shift box on the right. Continue with the Standard 2.2 Gamma, then set the Color Temp to 5500K. I would also recommend (if possible) having a nice test image or neutral gray tint to view side-by-side on another trusted display for comparison (ie: a Mac Retina). For reference, I also have the 24" LG UltraFine which is an Apple-endorsed display. Side by side, you can see why this one was $100 less, even though it's bigger and has the awesome ergo stand. The 27" isn't nearly as bright or as colorful. With the settings above, it's usable, but I'll likely still do any serious color tweaking on the 24" or my MBPs Retina display.I also tested both the USB-C connection against a Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort connection, didn't see any drastic difference, but I think the DisplayPort is a bit better, mouse movements seem more responsive perhaps? Not sure. For a secondary display, non-color critical work, this is an AWESOME value IMO!!!

It was good monitor until it stopped working after 7 months.
LG 27UN880-B was a good monitor while it was working. It had problems waking up from sleep, but I had this issue with all LG monitors I had. And then it stopped functioning after 7 months. All of a sudden while working on it picture got striped and very dark with strobing. This last picture from desktop stays with all inputs disconnected and after power cycle (photo attached). As of now monitor can't detect inputs and shows that last picture all the time.I hope LG have a good customer service and issue will be resolved rather fast.Update: No, LG RMA is not fast at all. It would take for them 2-3 business days to EMAIL shipping label. Probably they need to assemble and deploy mail server. Very frustrating experience. As of now I feel like I’ll be avoiding LG products for a reason that if the issue will arise there is no any quick way to resolve it.Downgraded rating to one stat due to the issues with monitor and expectations of rather long RMA process.

Love it! MAKE SURE YOUR DESK FITS THE CLAMP
I wanted a desk set up to focus on my classes and this computer does not disappoint! One thing I didn’t realize was that I have one of those cheap $50-60 Amazon desks with the metal feet and you aren’t able to clamp by itself because the medal attached to the wood protrudes out from the desk, causing a huge gap between the wood and the clamp suction. To bypass this I superglued a 2 dollar 1” x 4 “ x 2ft furring strip board from Home Depot to make the surface more even and to avoid buying another desk. There is still about a 1/8” gap between the black metal and the furring strip but it is clamped really tight and it is very sturdy until I decide to get another desk. I love this computer so much and highly recommend!
