I don’t see what people are saying about a bunch oil and they might be doing it themselves but it’s supposed to have oil on it to protect the metal. The quality is there and there’s supposed to be ridges in it, the value is there money wise. Size is amazing and my father loved it.

I bought this blade as a gift and was very impressed for the price. The handle and blade are very sturdy, much more than I anticipated. The sheath is also very thick and sturdy. It’s not a high quality finish but I wouldn’t expect that type of leather work at this price point.

Positives are the knife is sharp and the leather sheath is very nice looking. It also feels great in the hand and the brass elements are a nice touch.Negatives are the knife seems to be rusting, or it might be a reaction with the sheath where the leather is taking the moisture away from it. It might be my fault for not keeping it oiled enough. Also the bone looks much better in the product images than in real life, as there are no darkened/weathered areas.I may be expecting too much from a $55 knife, but I was hoping for a little better I guess.
