This is a tried and true classic docking station for a reason. It is a work horse!

Most of the dock works ok, but the HDMI and USB ports are bollixed. Luckily I'm not using either of those for anything significant. VGA and power work fine.

I purchased this docking station for a second home office location. My first one (not purchased here) works perfectly. This one will send my computer randomly into sleep mode. It happens at such random times. I could be working for 30 minutes without an issue and then my computer will go on and off in sleep mode where I have to wake it, re-enter my password and continue. Then, a few minutes, do it again, and again and again. I can be on the phone with a customer and the computer just falls asleep in mid-typing. I thought it was the cables so I replaced them. New cables didn't fix the problem. Something about this docking station that causes the issue. I wouldn't recommend that you buy it.
