Broken Remote
I wish I hadn’t purchased this item. The remote control stopped working and the seller won’t respond to any of my messages. I purchased because of the remote. I paid to have it installed and boxed in my ceiling and I can’t reach to turn it off and on because of the height. Useless!

Great company to work with!
I ordered this for an old condo that we just purchased and we’re renovating! I love the look of this vent hood and so hoped it would work for me! Unfortunately, there wasn’t a way to vent it outside and I had to return. Forno (and specifically, Chris could not have been nicer or more accommodating). This hood weighs 90 lbs but he did not charge me a restocking fee, arranged the delivery and pickup and credited me back the full amount as soon as it was picked up! This was one of the MOST pleasant experiences of working with any company that I have ever had!! This hood is beautiful and sleek and I am so sorry it did not work in my space!

Great look, poor performance
I ordered this vent hood while our kitchen was being remodeled. The hood vent looks great installed, unfortunately the remote control works sporadically. I have sent multiple emails to Forno customer support detailing my issue and as of now, I do not have a resolve. I have purchased an additional remote thinking the original was defective, however the issue still exists. I have also purchased new batteries, but yet the problem still exist. The vent hood does have buttons, however once installed over your range vent hood is unreachable. At this time in order to use the vent hood, I have to use a step stool to power it off & on.

Flush and Sleek
Since my range is in the island, i searched for a flush mount range hood. After pouring through reviews and spec sheets, i went with Forno. So far it works great. The remote is a neat feature, but you do have to aim it directly at the IR receiver in the vent hood. I’ll try to report back after it’s used more!
