Excellent solution. Long threaded studs allow user to reinforce strength where you want. Steel is strong. Leg inserts are weaker steel which is fine since you can grind to zero tolerance on the legs easily for right fit. Screws heads for hardware are a bit of a pain but screws are beefy. Use a large Allen Key to install leg inserts. I used a socket wrench since the holes were (too tight) and I would have drilled them slightly large next time. Overall exceed expectations for people handy with hardware and wood working.

Once long time owner of hardware store. This is one of the most well thought out kits I have ever seen. Great price, the only issue is why didn't I look for this 10 years ago. A+, less than 1 hour install.

These work fine as a replacement for the IKEA mounting plates BUT they are very, very small. Don't expect the same lateral stability which comes with the real plates; these are just too small for that. Also, there are only 4 screws as opposed to 5 on the IKEA plate. If you're mounting this into solid wood, this should be fine. If it's going into a hollow-center table made from Masonite, I would consider a larger plate with more screws. 4/5 due to its size.

Replace bracket to put in table leg. Bracket was different than the ones on the table so had to drill hole to put new bracket in

I was trying to replace a lost set from IKEA for a table - these are much much smaller and do not do the trick - I should have read the dimensions more carefully, but they looked right in the photo so just a warning to others - if you are looking for the larger version of these that they have at Ikea…..these ain’t it.they would be useful for a very small table and it was nice that they came with the hardware to also set up the legs to insert into the table points.

Bought these to attach these foot buns to our IKEA Kallax. They worked perfectly. They were exactly what we needed and I could not find them at Lowe’s or Home Depot !
