I love the Gillette Venus razors, my armpits are extremely sensible, they can get red very easy while shaving due to irritation & by using the Venus ones I have never had an issue - plus they leave my skin soft and very refreshed! 100% the gel bars do their job!

I bought this after accidentally adding the wrong Venus refillable cartridge to a wish list and buying the wrong one. I usually use the Intuition razor with the complete block of gel around it, it's kind of huge in comparison to this one so I figured I'd give this a go for more.. delicate spots? But if I'm being perfectly honest this one is better than the old Venus standard sized razor I had and it's definitely an upgrade but if I'm being completely honest the gel on it dies down after like two uses? I do understand that you're supposed to replace these really fast but I would prefer it to at least last a week. My other razor (Intuition) that I prefer to use on my legs and the rest of my body easily lasts me probably longer than I'm willing to admit I use a razor LOL but this one I literally have to flip it around and run it backwards on my armpits or legs to rub off some of that gel because if you use it the correct way it's already dragged down so much after a few uses that it's basically just a razor with no gel.
