This kit was my first foray into tie dying! I loved that it had everything needed. I only wish it had kid sized gloves. We were able to dye the 4 shirts that came in the kit as well as 2 kids undershirts and 2 other items. Almost not enough dye, but it was a blast! I loved that there was a tablecloth - we did it on the front lawn and just threw everything away/recycled when done. The instructions were super easy and we let the items sit for 24+ hours just to be sure. My nanny kids loved their shirts and have worn them countless times so far. Would purchase again.

After reading some reviews on here I did not expect much. But a fun activity for my daughter and I, it was worth the risk. We have never tie dyed before, did not really know how it would go. Went amazing! The shirts provided are of actually pretty good quality. The rubber bands are very good, and plentiful. The gloves, well, small for me, but I had others. The dye, you just fill the bottle with water. Hint: Do not fill all the way, fill about 3/4. you will still have plenty of dye and it will be a bit more vibrant. We tied all sorts of patterns we seen on YOUTube, and then did a really crazy one. All of them came out perfect and very cool. Use your imagination, tight rubber bands and dont be in a hurry. We let ours set for a full day before we rinsed. When we did rinse it was very little dye that came out. We then washed all of them together in the washing machine. This did lighten the de a bit, but the still looked great. Not a professional, didnt expect professional results, we had fun, the shirts are a great memory. Loved it!

Easy to use and good quality dyes, but, as others have said, the included tshirts are very low quality and run VERY small. I would recommend buying your own 100% cotton shirts separately if you plan on wearing the shirts afterwards. The colors hold well EXCEPT for yellow, which washes out almost completely even after a 14 hour soak.

My son had been begging me to do tie-dye for a while. I finally got the kit and we had a great time! The kit included everything we needed. I do think the shirts were a little big for him (4yo) so we ended up dying some of his usual shirts...I also dyed my own and it came out really nice! We dyed a bunch of white stuff we found around the house. Please note only the plain white one came in the kitt. I would definitely do again.We used our own plastic as the one provided was kind of thin. Do recommend using the gloves that come inside. The instructions didn't mention you had to add water to the dye..so just know it's an extra step. No big deal...it just wasn't explicitly written on there. Also, warn your kids that the whole process takes about 10 hours. I just like to tell little kids the expectations as he was very eager to wear his shirt!So happy with how these turned out!

So I have my review another star.This kit is a good price and was fun for a family night. My almost 5-year-old enjoyed making the shirt patterns, using the rubber bands, and dying each shirt in the sink. For the price of the kit, the shirt quality is what you'd imagine, we bought additional shirts because the S, M, and L, are not true to size. Not a huge deal, you get what you pay for. But my big complaint is with the dye quality itself. The dye is not good. It faded dramatically in one wash cycle. Like, even the black looks more grey now. I've done a lot of tie-dye in my day, and it shouldn't be like this. So if you're hoping to make an epic shirt that turns out like a Pinterest picture, this is not the kit for you. But if you just want something fun to do as a family, this fills that void. While our shirts are not vibrant, we still wear them around the house and as pajamas.
