YMDK Double Shot 108 Dyed PBT Shine Through OEM Profile Rainbow Carbon Sunset Keycap for MX Switches Mechanical Keyboard（Only Keycap） (Carbon)

I purchased the 108 Purple Gradient pack to replace the typewriter style keys on a Royal Kludge RK S108. The keys came in a shrink wrapped tube packaging, so it was easy to slide the keys out per row and I was actually able to put my old keys into the packaging for storage. The keys are beautiful and the lights shine through without issue. I’m so excited to have a keys that I cannot wear off!

I had a couple broken keycaps from normal wear and tear on my G710+, so I chose this set as the replacement. I really like the color palette and the shine through works well. Looks great with the existing color scheme on the G710+.First off, these are just about the same quality as what came off the G710+. The only real difference is that the Logitech keys came with rubber O-rings to help keep the keys snug and help with quieting them. The replacement keys definitely have more of a “clack” to them thanks to the difference.Another downside is that these keys aren’t an exact fit replacement for the G710+. Not the key maker’s fault, just Logitech deciding not to conform to standard key size and spacing. All the keys fit great until you get to the last row. The entire row is a little off, and I had to re-use my OEM Win Key because Logitech’s spacing and key width is different. So they don’t quite line up for a nice look. It’s not awful, but it sure could be better. The space bar doesn’t line up with the supports, either. They’re just 2mm off or so, but just enough to not work. I had to pull the original supports and 3D print new ones that fit the slot in the 710. Unfortunate, but it got the job done. It’s like Logitech didn’t want you to be able to fix it, just buy a new keyboard I guess.EDIT: Having had these keys installed for a few weeks now I can say they work fine, however I've found I dislike the tactile finish on them. Feels vaguely dusty or like fine sand is on them. I appreciate the matte look, but the touch is slightly offputting.

For the first few months I owned these keycaps in the Night Sunset color scheme, I thought they were just okay. Now that I've migrated them to a new board that actually has (in my case, RGB) LEDs - and Gateron brown switches - I can REALLY see and feel how good they are. They look okay without LEDs: the ombre color scheme gets compliments, sure. But when the LEDs are on, WOW. They're crisp, clear, super vivid, and the shine comes both through the top and extends around the entire key evenly and vividly. They also feel smooth to the touch and just look really polished and playful at the same time, with all the text nicely aligned, level, even, and bold/easy to read.This is my first set of YMDK caps and I was nervous about buying or using them long-term because I wasn't sure they'd hold up. But now that I have them on a brand new board, I feel really great about them.If anyone is into some light modding, the keys take really well to clear superglue and light pressure. (I carefully sliced the Kirby icon off a different profile key and glued it to an unused keycap and voila, I have a custom RGB light button.) My only wish, and this is INCREDIBLY selfish of me, is that there were a couple row 1 blanks or special symbols (suns? setting suns? moons?) in this set, too, so folks with special keys can do some fiddling without having to do surgery like I did :)The next time I'm in the market for a new set, I'll be back. Hopefully that will be ages from now, but ... well, I can't stop buying keyboards, so who knows.

Nice color but did having only the one size and variations for each key did not work out for me. I was unable to use them on my 75% keyboard. Will be returning.

The keys feel great and characters are visible without backlights. With backlights enabled, it looks excellent

Needed shine throughs and this was the color combination I needed. Good price, decent keycap. Happy with the purchase.
