Flybar My First Foam Pogo Jumper for Kids Fun and Safe Pogo Stick for Toddlers

I am surprised as the amount of good reviews and maybe I missed the others stating that their kids (in my case our 5 year old son) got hurt in his groin by this thing launching upward when his foot slipped. He gave this back and said "I don't want this anymore" after he was excited to get this pogo jumper for his birthday. I feel bad that he was injured. If I'd have had the forethought I'd have not gotten this for him.

I got this for my 4-year-old and when he first opened it, he didn't know what it was and told me, "You got me a present I don't like." After we unboxed it, he, his big sister, and dad tried it. By bed time he was raving about "my pogo!"It only took a few times for each kid to get the hang of it. If your kids are accident-prone, as mine are, you might want to have them helmets with it. My son seemed to be trying to jump into a wall corner that sticks out with it.This definitely teaches balance. It's easy to use, but a light 4-year-old really has to work his leg muscles to get a good squeak. The effort required to make it loud is a feature for us. My son has endless energy, but good focus. By having work hard on this, I can wear him out a little, which makes life better for all of us.This is a wonderful, battery- and screen-free toy that amuses a wide range of ages, teaches balance, builds muscles, and is really good quality at a great price. Buying it make me a present-giving hero.

I have been so impressed with this green frog pogo jump! I bought it for my nearly 3-year-old for Christmas and within one day he can stand on it and has jumped a time or two without falling. He is so proud of himself! This will give him opportunities to challenge himself, grow, and burn off some of his energy! My eight-year-old son has used it a lot and loves it too! So does my 11-year-old daughter. Even my husband has bounced around the house on it and it held up beautifully (over 200 lbs)!!! Everything on it is foam or soft. I love that it’s a bungee instead of a pole. It folds up nicely for space and it won’t hurt your child (unless they fall into something). It does have a squeaker so if noise bothers you this may not be the toy for you. I’m so happy with this item that I just bought a second one for my niece (pink)!

I got this toy because I thought my 3yo would be jealous of my 6yo's pogo stick but it is surprisingly well loved by both kids. The foam is not sturdy enough to be an outside item. It works best on hardwood/tile and would not be best on plush carpet or grass because it needs a firm surface to bounce. I did take away a star because there is a squeak when the kids bounce with their full weight.

3 year old is not heavy enough to make this squeaky noise.The rubber resistance cord is too long for a very tall 3 year old. (100 percentile)Because it's too long, he cannot keep his feet where they're supposed to be and he ends up jumping on the floor... He gets frustrated.
