Micron recently changed 16Gb memory sticks configuration to 1 Rank instead of previously produced 2 Ranks without highlighting this in any way to the buyers and retaining the same product number.This is a deceptive and misleading tactics especially if buyers are making their decisions based on performance reviews received with older, 2 Rank modules.This can be easily checked without even pulling modules from the box through the clear plastic on the front.Starting February 2021 Amazon only shipping BL16G32C16U4B.M8FB1 modules instead of BL16G32C16U4B.M16FE1.So Micron REDUCED their manufacturing cost by utilising higher density 8 chips per stick instead of 16 chips, while also REDUCING average system performance and INCREASING the price.Older modules had Average Uncached Transfer Speed of 18.7Gb/s READ and 14.9GB/s WRITE while new ones are 17.3 GB/s and 14.0 GB/s respectively.In real life applications for a gaming system 2 Rank (2 sticks x 1 Rank) vs 4 Rank (2 sticks x 2 Ranks or 4 sticks x 1 Rank) memory configuration means up to 4-9% decrease in performance with all the same components and settings.This is a huge difference because for an average gaming system those 4-9% in performance usually cost well North of $100-$200 in upgrades.So Micron is selling worse components under the same part #, making more profit but delivering worse product to unsuspicious customers.Micron should have started marking product package with memory configuration information to make customers aware of such a change instead of sneaking sub-quality product in the same box which may and will be associated by a lot of people with product performance review which are no longer applicable to the new modification.I do believe that this is unacceptable and dishonest business practice comparable to Apple throttling older iPhone models.

J'ai acheté de nouvelles barrettes de RAM pour me monter un PC de jeu.Mes critères étaient :- Sobre et élégant ( pas de RGB )- Une bonne fréquence- Un dissipateur peu volumineuxCes barrettes Crucial sont donc le compromis idéal , j'ai couplé cette RAM avec un Ryzen 5 3600 et une RX 5700 XT, elles sont parfaites , il y a même possibilité de les overclocker pour monter à une fréquence de 3400 ou 3200 Mhz car de base elles sont cadencés à 3000 Mhz , ce qui est déjà très bien mais pour que mon CPU soit en parfaite adéquation , j'ai décidé d'overclocker cette ram à 3200 Mhz via le logiciel Gigabyte inclus avec ma carte mère B45O Aorus Elite.Elles sont stables et me permettent de faire toutes mes tâches quotidiennes comme le Jeu en qualité Ultra ou même les rendus vidéo et bien sur la bureautique comme la navigation internet , les films , le traitement de texte .Superbe RAM , je les conseille vivement à tout le monde , à prendre les yeux fermés.ÉDIT : Je viens de m'en recommander une paire de 16go pour atteindre les 32 go, quel plaisir, les meilleurs Ram actuellement surtout niveau prix.Si vous avez des questions, n'hésitez pas puis pour me faire plaisir, cliquez sur le bouton "Utile" sa m'aidera pour avoir plus de visibilité^^.Merci

En el verano pasado, escogí estas Crucial para la placa base MSI Mpg X570 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi, ya que en su página web se indicaban como compatibles. Pero la placa no las reconocía y decidí devolver las dos piezas de hardware para comprar finalmente las HyperX Predator con las mismas características y similar precio. Conectadas a una nueva y formidable placa ATX, la ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) éstas últimas no me han decepcionado.

I ryzen serie 3000, per la loro architettura, lavorano meglio con frequenze di ram elevate.I CCD (grupi di core) infatti comunicano tra loro attraverso l'infinity fabric. Questa comunicazione avviene ad una frequenza uguale a quella delle ram fino a 3600Mhz. (3600mhz in double data, DDR appunto, sono 1800mhz sull'infinity clock, ma questo non ci interessa).Oltre i 3600Mhz, la frequenza dell'infinity clock passa da 1:1 a 1:2, dimezzandosi e rallentando gli scambi di dati tra i core.Quindi 3600Mhz è la frequenza migliore con cui scegliere le vostre ram per i ryzen.E' assolutamente sconsigliato scendere sotto i 3000Mhz, mentre un buon compromesso per le prestazioni se non volete spendere troppo sono i 3200Mhz (questo dai test che si trovano in giro).Ovvie te come tutte le ram, per farle andare alla frequenza dichiarata dovete abilitare il profilo xmp dal vostro bios (è una cavolata, ma è fondamentale).AGGIORNAMENTO:Per i ryzen 5000 l'infinity fabric di cui ho scritto sopra, si puo fare andare fino a 1900-2000mhz (2000 nei casi fortunati, 1900 quasi sempre). Questo corrisponderebbe a frequenze sulle ram di 3800-4000Mhz.Ci sarebbe la serie max che va dai 4000mhz in su, ma costa davvero troppo e non ne vale la pena se considerate che le ballistix "normali" da 3600mhz cl16 si overclockano facilmente a 3800Mhz cl16 e anche a 4000mhz cl17 con circa 1,39v. Questo da quello che ho potuto vedere sui due stick miei e altri quattro di un amico che ho aiutato con le ram.Quindi, in poche parole, per i ryzen 5000 le migliori ram da prendere restano le 3600 cl16, da overclockare all'occorrenza se volete alzare manualmente le frequenze dell'infinity fabric ed ottenere il massimo delle prestazioni possibili. Se non volete toccare l'infinity fabric perché non siete sicuri o non vi interessa, le potete comunque lasciare a 3600 attivando il solo profilo xmp (proprio come sui ryzen 3000) e siete apposto.

Errors at XMP should be expected as it is an overclock profile, in most cases bumping voltages will get rid of the errors. Using Ryzen Dram Calculator and some manual timing tightening I ended up with this: 14-18-14-14-32-56-1CR-522TRFC, GDM OFF @ 3600 MT/S, 1.47V. In the calculator membench 0.8 i got a time of 109.6 on Easy.
