They are 4-3/4" long & 2-3/8" wide

Q: Can I use regular nail polish to paint the nails, or need stamping polish?

Gel polish won’t work for stamping. You can use gel as the base though

Q: Is there a trick to using this? None of my nail polish will even transfer to this stamper

Are you using polish that is made for stamping or are you using regular polish? I use the polish that came with the kit that I bought and I have no problem. However, when I do go to the salon for my manicure, the nail tech does have problems sometimes with the stamper. Some stampers work and others don't. There doesn't seem to be a reason why some stampers work and others don't.
