This is my absolute favorite Dolce Gusto blend and I've tried them all. I've been getting frustrated with the available Dolce Gusto flavors for many years, and even stopped using my machine until I tried this. This amazingly emulates true expresso flavor, and I even like to drink it like normal morning coffee with meals by brewing it at the recommended 2oz and then adding hot water (or milk) to bring up the volume. Brewing more than the recommended 2 oz makes it quite bitter, so you're much better off simply adding hot liquid when not in the mood for concentrated espresso. This is also a very good substitute for the Dolce Gusto Capuccino product, and all you have to add is frothed milk - simply microwave your milk in a mug about 30 sec and then froth it with any electric frother such as Kuissential SlickFroth 2.0 - Electric Milk Frother, Cappuccino Maker to top off your brew and you've got a great tasting Capuccino without paying double the price for multi-capsules.

After tasting it, I was pleasantly surprised by the aroma, the taste and the smell.

Great flavor, super easy to use; no muss, no fuss. We are espresso lovers and have had a Francis-Francisfor years. This past October we were in Portugal and one of our rooms had a Nescafé espresso maker. With VERY low expectations we gave it’s try. In less than 90 seconds and no hassle we we’re both sipping our “little coffees” (as the Portuguese call them) and they were the equal of any we’d enjoyed even when made with and by high end, high priced coffees and machines. Later in the trip, while exploring their take on mall shopping, we found a large, very busy shop dedicated to various coffee makers, it was soon apparent that the Nescafé espresso makers we far and away the stars of the show. Got home, found a similar machine, licensed by Nestcafe and now we have espresso at least after dinner, but usually several times a day. This Christmas, the machine plus these wonderful espresso capsules has become our gift to family members.
