The belt came fast and was exactly as described. My hubby and I are now older and both disabled. It was me who had to be the caregiver for all of the older individuals in the family, and one of my aunts had a stroke and was left partially paralyzed. Her lift belt was invaluable as she was overweight and a “dead” weight when she fell. The only way to get her up without calling the fire department was a lift belt. Now we need one for ourselves. My husband fell after surgery trying to sit in a chair. His gait was unsteady, the chair moved, and down he went. I almost was unable to get him up. I immediately went to Amazon for the solution. This belt was so reasonably priced, and gave the weight limit. I ordered asap. Shipment was fast, and now neither he or I will have a problem if the situation were ever to happen again. I have nerve damage in my left leg residual from back surgery. It is easy for me to fall. I can’t believe I waited this long to get such a valuable resource for home health.

Used a gate belt previously with another patient and ordered this one because it looked very similar. Not as user friendly as the other one but it gets the job done. It’s a little finicky to thread the belt through the buckle sometimes. Overall happy with the purchase.

These belts are universally used physical therapists. You don't pull them so tight to restrict breathing, but to provide a physical sense of support to the person standing, sitting, walking, safely transferring.

Excellent to use for stretching leg either straight or into a bend by crossing at the foot. I use it daily
