Q: What sealant will not alter the blue color? I’ve used an acrylic base, and a sealant specifically for gold foil but it still changed to brown.

I use Old World Art Gold Leaf Adhesive size and Old World Art Gold Leaf Satin Sealer. The colors did not change.

There are 25 sheets in each booklet which covers an area of approximately 5 square feet. This listing is for one booklet only.

Q: How is this applied to a picture frame?

To apply gold leaf you need a glue called size which is allied to a picture frame. You may need to have a primer if the frame is wood. For instance if you are using this leaf with blue in it you may wish to paint the frame blue. Then buy a size, paint the size and let it almost dry and it is sticky(tacky.) In a room with no fans Laplace the gold leaf on the size. Gently push down with a soft rag. Let dry and brush the excess away. It’s probably best to watch videos if you have never done it before.

Q: do you stock rainbow colors gold leafing?

No, I'm afraid not. The available colors of variegated gold leaf are red, green, blue and light blue.
