Easier than I expected ('real shave' novice).
It says in the product description: number of blades: one. I thought the unit would thus would arrive with one. THERE ARE NONE INCLUDED HOWEVER LIKE IT SAYS with the blathery 'uk law' bla bla (people in 'razor gangs' cannae make two purchases no?!?).Anyway, you need to buy razor blades. I wasn't too sure how using this would go, so I didn't buy a bunch of blades that would just lie there if I thought: this ain't for me. Including a blade with the product would have been very useful to this end. I can't be the only guy that thinks this...?!?My local authority Edinburgh City Council (name and shame time!) on recycling used blades: they're too small to recycle just chuck them in land fill (Jesus wept!).I'm only gonna use this to tidy up my beard lines it won't be heavy usegae. Maybe a shave every week tops. Say five shaves minimum from any blade, so no more than ten blades a year say. A diy 'blade bank' (fashioned from a tinned comestible) can take 625 old blades (roughly say I believe!), so will last me sixty year plus (maybe in that time the dullard cabal that is ECC will get their act together on the recycling front what do you reckon?!? Or perhaps I shall have moved somewhere that has decent recycling?!?).Anyway: one shave down and to my great surprise: zero face sliceage! I was a bit put off by YouTube comments sections saying how difficult it was particularly with a 'shavette' (what this unit is I believe), over a 'straight razor' even. So I shall persist and my hundred blades won't need chucked someway immediately! #resultI bought one of the razor blade packs that was 'suggested' with the purchase.I'm just very disappointed about not being able to recycle old blades easily where I am. I thought this would be win, win, win. Better shave (it certainly was this), more economical (it certainly is that!) and better for the environment too than some of these cartridge razor environmental abominations.Anyway; TL:DR. I was a bit apprehensive at trying this but I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome of my first go. The unit worked well for me and was comfy in my hand. If you're reading this thinking: I'm not sure really, this was a good starter option for me anyway.

Nice feel and good looking
I am a professional barber I think the razor is a bit out should go lower and closer to the frame. You always have to be careful , Don’t under estimate using the cut throat . It’s a good quality and hope the manufacturers will improve it even more

Worth the money
As I currently have a beard I bought this mainly to make it easier to tidy up the lines and shave my neck. The razor is easy to use and my initial fear of cutting my throat with it were totally unfounded. I haven't cut myself once with it and I've been using it a while now. I get a good close shave with no shaving rash and the added bonus is that I look manly holding it. At no point has anyone sucked in breath in awe at the sight of a plastic Gillette but once you pull out your cut throat to show your pals when they come round they will bow before your might.....well, perhaps not, but that's how it feels when you are standing shaving each morning. You need to buy the blades separately but they are cheap and at the rate I'm getting through them I'll possibly be dead before I finish the box. There is no way if getting a better, cheaper, more manly shave than this.

Unless you are a professional or regularly user, be very careful
Be very very careful.es or this type regularly, be very careful. While I am 💯 happy with the quality and value for money element, this is not for amateurs. I have used double and triple blade shaving razors for many year, but when using a cutthroat razor of this type to shape my mustache and side burns, I cut myself with the slightest of movement, even moving the right direction, you have to use an oil or shaving fell too but keep the entire side of the blade close to your skin and move gently. Good luck and be careful.
