Cold pressed and unrefined. You can tell it’s high quality because of the strong earthy smell which is what you want. It was also thick for me because it’s winter here and it will solidly at cold temps. Great oil for blocking harmful UV rays up to 22%.

To be honest I haven’t used this oil yet, but I will. The packaging looks good and seems like it would be a good oil.

I use this oil on my face at night. It feels smooth and has no smell.

This oil is thick but does absorb quickly. Has a very strong scent but not bad. Do not put product on eyelids because it will burn if it gets in your eyes.

This oil is very thick & a very dark green/brown. It has an unusual odor but not bad. It’s very oily once applied but absorbed quickly by skin leaving a soft silky finish. I recently had total knee replacement and have used this oil to massage into CLOSED wound & bruised surrounding knee. A little over 1 1/2 months my scar looks great! This oil is purported to enhance collagen in skin, help hair growth when used as hair mask and for facial application to smooth wrinkles. You can use this for many beauty benefits BUT DO NOT INGEST. I bought this because I was following a recipe for facial serum I'd found on line, and had no idea how horrible it smells. I had to throw away the batch I made because I couldn't stand the stench of it on my face. Then I threw away the rest of what was in the bottle. I actually tried to use the glass bottle for something else, but the smell is just wretched and would not go away, even after putting it through the dishwasher.

I use tamanu oil in certain homemade soaps and I love the deep color and nutty scent. This one seems to have it all. It's very viscous, dark and has a wonderful scent. I will likely buy from this seller again since my last one no longer carries it.
