I have had carpenter ants at my central Texas lake cabin for 5 years. I have put down the granulated ant/tick spring and fall for three years. Does not work. Still have ants crawling on the siding. I used the bait feed and the syringe gel from this manufacturer and ants are gone. Thanks for a great product!

Effective on hard to kill fire and pharoah ants. I have ants living in my container plants and in my mailbox. These have been hard to control since I cannot use most baits in edible plants, but I can use bait stations nearby. I have put out multple bait stations with different formulations to get them under control. Since I put this in my mailbox, the ants have stayed away.

Every summer I pick up the tried and true Terro ant traps and they work like a charm. This year the tiny ants were not taking the bait so I went on the hunt for something different. I learned that Terro is sugar based but some ants, like the ones I had, are protein driven. I picked Advion as it was highly recommended and within 1 day of placing the traps, my ants were gone. I opted for the self contained traps instead of the gel due to pets and I was very impressed with how quickly they worked.

What a waste of money. The ants will walk all around it and on top, but won’t go in. More of an ant repellent than a trap. Have had them out for almost two days and they haven’t touched it.

These things work amazing. I put one of these in each area where I saw some ants, and within an hour I noticed the ants were inside of them taking the bait. The next day, I see dead ants everywhere and no live ones. Mission accomplished.

Advion Arena is a protein-based bait product, which means it works best when combined with a glucose-based bait. In our experience, 90% of ants ended up going for the glucose bait (we used Terro), and only a handful went for the Arena bait. But the arena comes in a self-enclosed station which is convenient for placing quickly around the house. And the solid base means it can be placed at an angle or even upside-down.Overall, useful to have around since a colony's food preference may change over time. And the resealable bag is great for keeping it fresh in storage.
