Reception made easy!
This item works awesome for a travel trailer(RV). I am guessing that many of the people leaving negative reviews for this product, are not very tech savy and do not read directions very well. With my TT parked in my driveway I went from getting 8 channels without this to getting 29 channels with this little gadgets help. I am over 65 miles as the crow flies from ANY broadcast towers, and I was also pulling channels from over 125 miles away! I pointed the antenna halfway in between the best two readings, and that is where I found my 29 channels, so it takes some common sense to get prime coverage but without this device many will just be guessing on how good your reception could be. It sure is nice on those rainy camping days to have a good selection of channels to watch. A person has to have some idea of what direction to point the antenna, and with many online maps as well as smartphone apps anyone should be able to get in the right direction. I would spend twice as much for this item knowing how well it has helped me!! Great product for an even greater price, don't wait-get it!!! This is not a signal booster, but rather a tool to help you get the best reception by following the supplied instructions and turn the unit off when not searching for which way to turn your antenna!

a neat device
I've had so much trouble getting over the air TV. This product helped me find the optimal position for my antenna, and it did so very quickly.Previously, I would have to wait a half hour as my tv scanned for channels. Then I'd find a channel that was poor quality and start repositioning the antenna. I'd have to scan again to see if any new channels were found. I don't know how many times I did this. Those days are over! This device comes with everything you need (battery, cable) to do its job. It was sad how quickly I found the best spot for my antenna - I would have enjoyed playing with this a bit longer. The included battery was really strong - the lights were blinding; the mechanism is simple to use. I'm a satisfied customer.

KING SL1000 SureLock Digital TV Signal Finder: A Frustrating Misfire
I purchased the KING SL1000 SureLock Digital TV Signal Finder with high hopes of simplifying the antenna installation process for my RV. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was a complete disappointment.Initial ImpressionsThe SureLock arrived promptly and well-packaged. The instructions were clear and concise, and the device itself felt sturdy and well-built. I was excited to put it to the test and quickly improve my TV reception.Disappointment Sets InHowever, my excitement quickly turned to frustration as I attempted to use the SureLock. No matter where I pointed my antenna or how I adjusted the device, the signal strength indicator remained stubbornly stuck at zero. I tried different locations, different channels, and even double-checked all the connections, but nothing seemed to work.Troubleshooting EffortsI consulted the manual and online forums, hoping to find a solution. I tried updating the firmware, recalibrating the device, and even using different TV sets. Unfortunately, none of these efforts yielded any positive results.More Than Just a Defective UnitThis wasn't just a case of receiving a faulty unit. Based on my online research, several other users have encountered similar issues with the SureLock. This suggests a deeper problem with the design or functionality of the device itself. The Final VerdictIn conclusion, I cannot recommend the KING SL1000 SureLock Digital TV Signal Finder. It failed to deliver on its promise of simplifying antenna installation, and left me with more frustration than signal strength. While the product may have worked for some users, my experience and the reports of others suggest a significant risk of encountering problems.Areas for ImprovementFor future versions of this product, I recommend focusing on:Improved sensitivity: The current device seems to lack enough sensitivity to accurately detect weaker signals.More detailed diagnostics: Providing additional information about the detected signal (signal quality, channel information) would be helpful in troubleshooting issues.Enhanced user feedback: The current LED indicators are quite limited. Consider implementing a more informative display or mobile app integration.Until these issues are addressed, I would advise potential buyers to steer clear of the KING SL1000 SureLock Digital TV Signal Finder and look for alternative solutions.

The jury is still out!
Really love their replacement RV antenna that I purchased from them. This device I'm still working with. So far has questionable results. The idea with this thing is to get the antenna oriented in the general direction of the strongest signal. I use this thing in my RV travel trailer. It doesn't always make it obvious which way to point the antenna. Sometimes the signal strength will flash strong for justice a second or two and then settle down to a very low value. It has done this at several locations and attempted uses. I don't know if that's some other interference like cellular that makes it jump like that or what. I will keep working with it.

If you're using an antenna you probably need this
VERY pleased with this little meter. We have a Tablo (OTA DVR for streaming) and until now the only way to tweak antenna position was to wait about 2 minutes for the change to work it's way through the system so we could see what we were getting.Hooked up the meter, saw the low signal I was getting and got to work. Wound up going to a different antenna and getting twice the signal I had before, all in a short time.Make sure to follow the directions - start with the gain up all the way. If you're getting a full set of lights, turn the gain down until the last light is flickering and adjust your position until it's on again. Repeat until you can't get better, then scan and check your channels.

Doesn't really work well
I installed it correctly. Tested it with 2 antennas. One was amplified, one was not. I know exactly where my transmitters are . I can rotate my antenna with my other TV, and watch the signal go from seeing to wrap because it has its own signal strength indicator. This piece of junk maybe shows 2 lights... And status there no matter what. It's going back.
