Really, really good...
I've come late to rap/hip-hop... one of those old(ish) white guys for whom Hamilton was the gateway.I've started slowly with recordings that are considered to be classics and Ready to Die deserves its place on that list.

Arrived as-described.
It's the original pressing, not the remaster. Booklet, etc. is still all written in English.

... Biggie fans grew up with before Puffy ruined tracks like gimmie the loot
This is the original album that real Biggie fans grew up with before Puffy ruined tracks like gimmie the loot; machine gun funk and ready to die.

Meh...
Personally, I like those songs WITHOUT the samples. Those samples are noisy and they don't blend in with the rest of the music. They almost sound like an entire horns section that played its part too early, or late!I promise that you're not missing anything, but if you're a die-hard Biggie fan and want to collect, then good luck on finding this album! It's out of print, and legally so, since the record company was ordered to remove those samples.
