Does the Job and Fits.
It works. I used it for a laptop that was completely dead. At first it seemed not to do anything. The laptop battery was WAY over discharged so I left this charger on for a few days and finally the battery charged. This laptop was formerly owned by my room mates father so I think it had probably sat in storage for maybe years. I got this charger because it had a different connector than my personal laptopsNote. It is a good practice to keep batteries charged in storage at about 80%. So, even if you are not using a device, charge it now and then right?

Works fine but the specs are a bit off
This is not the OEM part, but this is OK, so long as it works. The only concern for me was that the specs do not match those of the original HP 65W power adapter. The HP adapter lists 19.5 V, 3.3 A while this part specifies 18.5 V, 3.5 A, so the voltage is too low and the amperage is too high. Since the power is voltage times amperage, both 19.5*3.3 and 18.5*3.5 come to the number slightly smaller than 65, meaning that both have 65 W power. Still, I was a bit skeptical because of the voltage mismatch. Fortunately, the adapter works just fine, and charges the old laptop (Elitebook folio 9470m) battery all the way to 100%. The price is really good, and the item was shipped pretty quickly. I am satisfied with the purchase.
