Makes a wonderful pho that's not "quite" as good as the restaurant but pretty darn close. I live 30 mins from the nearest Pho restaurant and this has been wonderful. It comes with a jar and two seasoning satchels. I always do half a jar at a time which makes a gallon of broth. The broth is very rich and flavorful. I always just freeze whatever I don't eat to reheat at a later time. Takes an hour to simmer the broth. This seller has great tutorial videos on their Instagram page. I think I'm on my fourth jar and have not been disappointed yet.

It makes the broth taste even better. If you add beef directly to the broth, it turns red, so it's better to lightly cook the beef in a separate pot and then mix it in. Ordered this for the second time.The flavor is very nice.I like the beef stew version myself, but the kids say that ones too spicy.

It was not clear to me that this was designed to make 2 Gallons of stock all at once and not individual servings.

Excellent product, but I have one big complaint! The instructions are to make a 2 gallon batch, with no partial preparations available. I personally very rarely sit down to eat 2 gallons of PHO , so I did some maths and I figured out that 1 ounce of this product makes 20 ounces of excellent pho broth. The next problem is the seasoning bags; you will need an accurate scale to divide the weight of the seasonings accordingly, I ended up using a pho noodle kit that came with seasoning bags, and I simply save the inferior broth packets for another day. I can honestly say, using this product, in conjunction with PholiciousPho kits, fresh basil, bean sprouts & meat, produces restaurant quality Pho at home really easy!
