I just had the first stage of a dental implant (ie when they extract the old tooth and put the nail/post in your jaw) and I’m so grateful for this stuff! When my ibuprofen begins to wear off and it’s not yet time to take another dose, I have been putting this on the surgical site. It numbs the area & takes the edge off the pain ‘til I can take my next dose. It also tastes nice and is easy to apply! Pricey but worth it imo

I developed a dry socket day 5 post molar extraction (my stitches fell out too early). The pain was off the charts. I went in and my dentist put in a paste and sent me home with a syringe of it but I was scared I was going to run out so I did all of the internet research. This stuff is great! I rinse my mouth and put in a large bit of it and wait 20 minutes. The relief is very quick. It doesn’t last for hours and hours but I can get 4-5 hours of sleep, reapply it and go back to sleep. It doesn’t really have a bad taste and the tube wasn’t as small as I was expecting based on other reviews.

I love this stuff because it works. Like seriously when I have a cut or sore or canker sore in my mouth it fixes it very quickly even after trying other things for days. However, it’s SO expensive and seems to lose its efficacy after time (the container says not to use after 60 days.) If it lasted forever or was less pricey it would be a 5 star review!

As I've aged, it seems any dental work in my mouth is more irritating and takes longer to heal than it used to. I recently had an extraction which did not heal well (partially my fault I believe). Then later, I had the implant surgery and was thinking the same healing issues would occur. This had been recommended, so I got some and - wow - it really did help with the pain and healing! The implant surgery healed much better and when the site started feeling sore, this really helped soothe it. Granted, I initially also took OTC pain killers, but this had a very noticeable additional effect. I'll be keeping it around for any dental work I have done!
