Robertson Mincemeat - 411g - Pack of 2 (411g x 2)

OMG this is to die for. If you like mincemeat, this stuff is da bomb. Make you're own crust or use store bought crust - this filling is so good it'll support a mediocre crust. Delicious. I added some chopped apple. Best mincemeat pie ever

Came well packaged. Pricey but well worth the money.

Sent to my sister. She was having finding it locally. While trying a new crust for her tarts. In her own words "No complaint here. It is a yummy mincemeat. You are going to love these. The best I ever made!" 1 jar made 12 tarts. She received promptly. I ordered some before I ordered hers. Mine is still on back order??? So only the 4 stars. Finally received my order. It is great tasting, but different. It is definitely sweet with a citrus tang. Adding diced apples would smooth it out but I like the taste as is. A little goes a long way in mini pies.

Could not find my preferred brands of mincemeat at a reasonable price, so tried this. Pretty good. Takes 2 jars plus about a cup of extra raisins to fill a 9” pie pan (not a deep dish pie pan). But this brand seems to have little or no cloves in the spice blend. Cloves is the main spice in a classic mincemeat pie, so we had to add about 1/8 teaspoon to 2 jars of pie filling. It came out fine, but I think I will just pay the extreme price for my favorite brands.

Don't get this if your used to using the "none such" brand ,it's not even close . This was only purchased because usual brand was insanely expensive

So happy to have found a place to get mincemeat. When asking at the market most staff thought it was something from the meat department. One again amazon saves the day.

Our store didn't have our normal Dry mincement so I bought this for thanksgiving pie. Easy to use, taste is, in my opinion, much better. Took 2 jars for the large pie she made, so buy 2 the first time. You may find you need the second. Better that than buying one and finding out you need the second. lol!

Thank goodness, I could not get the classic by Crosse and Blackwell any longer, they have discontinued it, bought this to make two mince pies at Thanksgiving and it was delicious ! Not too sweet, texture was lovely and I highly recommend this as a replacement if you can’t get the original
