Form and function. Attractive in 2 senses of the word
Pros:Looks goodStableEasy to assembleKnives do not tilt, pivot, or swivelHolds a good quantity of knivesGood valueCons:None so farI have been wanting a magnetic knife holder for years. Unfortunately the strip style knife holders aren’t designed for most “real world” kitchens. I just bought 3 new knives that do not fit my old knife block. And I didn’t want the inconvenience of keeping the new knives in their cardboard sleeves in a drawer. This company has combined form and function to solve my problem. The unit isn’t any larger than most knife blocks and yet it holds more knives. I have eight knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and still have room for at least 3 more knives. Narrow blade knives like paring knives can be mounted side-by-side. As you can see in the photos long knives and wide knives fit well. It is constructed well from quality hardwood. The magnets are strong, but not to the point of you feeling like you are prying the knife off. My small paring knives tend to tilt a little, but I think that is because they aren’t well balanced and isn’t the fault of the holder. I thought that I would have to pull the holder out from the backsplash or rotate it to get knives out, but that isn’t the case. Removing a knife is a one-hand operation. The base does not slide and the holder doesn’t tilt when you remove a knife. It is easy to assemble. Definitely worth the money.Just a couple of points…and I am making them as fyi’s not as complaints. The wood pieces are a bit dusty (not terribly so). I wiped them all down with a rag and a little vegetable oil before assembly. Although the pilot holes for the screws are drilled well, walnut is a very hard wood for screw threads to cut in to. So save yourself a headache (and wrist ache) and lubricate the screws with a bit of beeswax, paraffin, or bar soap before screwing them in.

Beautiful Magnetic Knife Holder
Ordered this for my new set of Aikido knives which have a gorgeous wood grain pattern on the blades that I didn’t want hidden in a standard knife block. This holder does require assembly (directions are on the bottom of the box it’s packaged in) but it took only about 5 minutes, I used my drill to install the screws but they do include a Phillips screwdriver. The base has rubber pads that prevent the holder from slipping around on the counter. The assembled holder is nicely balanced so no danger of tipping over. The vertical blocks are magnetic on both sides so they can hold up to 12 knives. The magnets are quite strong and hold all my Aikido knives securely, no sagging or tilting. Cleaning the holder is easy, just wipe down with a damp sponge and dry immediately. To preserve the look of the wood you can use a bit of oil to refresh it.I’m very happy with this purchase. Sturdy, beautiful holder to secure and show off my knives.

Solid knife stand with one flaw
The stand itself looks great and holds most of my knives without an issue. As others have stated, the smallest piece doesn't have as strong of a magnet so your smaller knife won't hold as well (see 2nd picture). I had to play with that a few times to ensure it stood up without sliding. Also, be sure to wipe the pieces down right out of the box since they'll be dusty, which is to be expected with natural wood.Overall I'm happy with the product and it's a good value for the price.

Amazing block!
I love, love, love this block! No regrets. All but the smallest “tower” on it has strong magnetic power. The tiniest tower holds my smallest knives great on the front side and only so so on the back side. I could never put anything heavier than paring knifes on that one, but that’s fine for me. I happen to have two paring knives. Otherwise the other towers hold my sharpening steel—which is pretty heavy— and my heavy cleaver and every other knife I own without issue. It looks great, takes up less space than my old block, and doesn’t dull the blades like a regular block does when sliding them in and out. These just cling to the wood. Highly recommend!

Creative Magnetic Knife Storage
The wooden columns and base are a nice quality. The magnetic wood knife block fits my counter space and allows easy access to the knives, scissors and a small spatula. I recommend purchasing this unique knife block. It took some time to piece the blocks together and with a little effort I could turn the screws with the enclosed screw drive.

Beautiful that didn't work as expected
It was a beautiful knife holder but some of the magnets weren't strong enough to hold any knifes they fell off and when the knives are 200 to $300 a piece that is a definite issue. However I did choose to have it replaced with a new one rather than get my mighty back it is a nice knife holder

Love the style.
I like the design. It doesn't take up as much counter space as the.my prior upright magnetic knife board plus it holds more knives along with my kitchen shears. The only thing I didn't like was the difficulty of assembly by myself. I had to return the original one received as the wood cracked while I was screwing one of the post to the base. The replacement sent by Amazon assembled perfectly. The magnets are super strong and will hold the heavest knives and shears. My knife set is a Henkel with full tang handles so it is a heavy knife set. Five stars for functionality and attractiveness. It looks great on my counter and makes my kitchen life easier! 👍🏻⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏻

Almost perfect
This is a very nice functional magnetic knife holder. As others have mentioned, the smallest magnetic block is weaker, possibly due to the position of the internal magnet or perhaps the thickness of the surrounding wood. Perhaps a larger magnet should be used.
