Leg AvenueWomen's Plus-Size Wicked Wench Costume

First off, make sure you check the size chart on the actual Leg Avenue site as the one on Amazon but has errors in some fields. I didn't even have a reason to dress up for Halloween or a place to go, but I wanted to give it a try and see how it looked on me and if it fit. I went according to my measurements and got the 3X/4X. I was afraid it would be so short I would have to wear leggings under it but it was the perfect length for my comfort zone and I'm somewhere around 5' 5". The only thing I didn't like about this costume was the lace sleeves that hang downwards. I didn't even realize the dress had them, as the model's background is white and they blended in. They kind of hung down limply and looked strange to me and others, but that was an easy fix and I just trimmed off the dangly part of the sleeves as the fabric didn't fray or unravel by doing that. The straps on the stress were also a bit loose on me, so be prepared to safety pin it in place if needed so it doesn't keep moving out of place from over your bra strap (you can wear a normal bra with this, as long as the cups don't come excessively high, but if it's patterned it may show through the cream color of the shirt). For those of you out there who happen to own or be interested in real, steel-boned corsets, this dress makes your assets look amazing, too bad my corset was an ill fit for my body shape and had to be returned so I wore it without one. I ended up wearing this to give out candy, definitely worth the money.

I love the velvety fabric. The lacy part is a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. I got many compliments on the outfit and am so happy!

I bought this sort of last minute for a night out with some friends Halloween weekend. I had tried stores but it was so hard to find my size. Amazon was my savior here. I took a chance based on other reviews and I’m very pleased with my decision. Not only does it fit perfectly it gave me a confidence boost that I didn’t know I was in need of. As a plus size woman who is very short I was worried about the fit but the skirt hits perfectly just above the knee (I’m 5’1 for reference) I also have a smaller chest and was worried that the top would be bulging and I’d be uncomfortable all night fidgeting with it. I was definitely wrong there. It fits almost perfectly and I’m not at all concerned about flashing my b cups. My only issue is the Lace-esque sleeves are not soft and and on the itchy side. But other than that I am totally in love with my purchase and wish every day it was Halloween so I could wear it over and over

I wore this costume last Halloween, it served its purpose. My family and I all dressed up like pirates. The entire dress kept riding up since it’s all one piece and caused for me to have to keep adjusting it all night long which was annoying.

purchased this for pirate's weekend at a Ren Faire in Oklahoma. I wore this outfit with a corset over the top. So sexy and flattering. I loved it so much I'm keeping it for Halloween!

Happy to report back it’s comfortable and breathable. I’m a server and used it for an event. The sleeves weren’t an issue and even so a pin could be or assistance easily.
