BLACK JACK Drive-Maxx 1000 4.75-Gallon Asphalt Sealer
I performs exactly as the label describes. I applied with a brush, and far more square footage than described and was laying down as heavily as one may with a brush, then spread as one does. A tip I learned as I went since only used a squeegee previously with other products is, once spread then making sure you randomize your pattern, just as you finish your brush stroke, lift the brush - it makes for a nice clean stroke and consistent thickness.I could actually walk on it within an hour, no problem and could have parked the cars there as it states, or like within 4 hours or so. I waited 12+ since was applied later Friday and then Saturday around noon (last week from date of this posting, later part of November - no problem). For me it's worth the additional money for that alone and that one may apply with temps down to 40-45F and no rain within 24hr; my area never went below 50F-ish. I had a light mist I know was coming at about 16 hours after applying and no problem at all. The most reasonably priced place to purchase was an offering not here if look around. Locally, many were out due to time of year (makes no sense) to those that had a full pallet and they had it at less than half, here - of course there's no shipping involved too. If need that, then - it's reasonable and still a better value than other products in my opinion.I prepared the driveway well, washing, scrubbing it down with a common green citrus based concentrate - worked well. And too used a liquid crack filler, comes in a gallon jug here - and since cured as fast as one could expect, next day to apply this, again, no problems. From all the products I've used over the decades I've lived here, and I put this, first original driveway down myself - this has performed as said and would expect. I've had products that peeled off the very next year I housed off over the summer, to this, the best so far - I don't expect to be having those challenges come summer time.
