Are the colored papers separate or are they bound together by some kind of grommet?

They are individual color swatches - not bound.

Color-aid, what does the abbreviation on the back of the swatch b-ex mean?

Some type of color coding.. It explains in the booklet with the color aide cards.

Does this have informations about the color on the back?

Yes there are. With the ones I'm selling, the back tells you the number of shades as well as the type. For example, if the color is a Tint 1 Warm Yellow, the back of the color swatch will have the letters "Yw-T1" on it. It also comes with a manual that tells you what each of the letters/numbers mean.
