EQUIDERMA Horse Skin Lotion for Rain Rot

Cleared the yuck off the front of her back legs after two applications, but I used it for an entire week once daily to be sure to rid of the issue. Worked great! Cleared up and hair grew back real quickly.

This worked like a charm. I adopted a 17-year-old half Arab mare that had a bad case of Cannon crud. I purchased a bottle of this and followed the directions. Slathered it on heavily, left it overnight, shampooed it all off the next morning. Canon crud gone! It has not returned, but if it does, I know how to treat it now.

This equine lotion was gotten to deal with horses scratches.Have used on and off in the past for both rain rot and scratches . this is a good product.it did a great job healing these issues on my thoroughbred in the past plus cannon scruff.

This stuff really works! I had such a hard time getting rain rot off our horse and tried tons of different things. This stuff worked the first day. Unbelievable.

This is great for rain rot but my new mare had rubbed her mane off due to allergies/parasites. Wahed her neck and combed base of mane to remove years of dirt, etc. Then applied Equiderma and massaged it into remaining mane. It is very greasy and will run down neck so don't need to use alot. Now her mane lays on her neck nicely and is 2-3 inches long. Retreat weekly to keep mane healthy and prevent itching. Thank you seller.

My horse had a really hard time this summer with the bugs and had all sorts of skin issues. This didn't fix all of them, but it helped her face from being too dry and crusty and it definitely contributed to her growing patches of rubbed off hair back very quickly and keeping the skin from drying out. It has a nice smell, it's a little oily, but not bad.The reason for 4 stars is because I am very disappointed in the bottle quality. I accidentally dropped it and the plastic shattered at the bottom. Huge disappointment since I hadn't even used it yet at that point. I had to cut it open further and scrape out as much as I could to transfer it to another bottle. I'm kind of upset about that, but otherwise, I'm happy overall with the product itself.

After buying a new horse with rain rot, I tried other products but results were slow. After reading other positive reviews and seeing this product recommended over and over on horse groups for various skin conditions, I decided to give it a try. Impressive how quickly it worked. Within a day or so my guy was getting relief and healing. I will never be without this product again. Not often products live up to their hype but this one did.

Could you imagine if I included a pic of my horses rain rot? YukAnyway, the generic equivalent of hibaclens , which is a germ killer they even use in hospitals (I’m a nurse) then it has 85% mineral oil that keeps the area sort of waterproof, loosens existing scabs and keeps new ones from forming! Love it! I have also been putting it on a chronic wound my other horse has and it doesn’t hurt him any more! So I can treat now a lot more effectively. So happy. Worth every penny.
