These are smaller than 5 inches for the characters but totally playable. Perfect for play even collecting. The detail is amazing. Characters made of rubber but very detailed and look amazing. The fighter itself is cool. Perfect size. I can't say enough about the details. Must buy!!!

Fragile. Good for collector. Maybe not for kids.
The detail is excellent in these toys, but they are definitely not meant for the kind of play 4 year olds engage in. Kylo Ren lost his hands, legs, weaponry within days. Playskool Heroes was a much more durable line of toys for kids. This seems more like collector's items.However, compared to the X-Wing fighter in this same series, the Tie fighter seems a bit more durable. I didn't need to superglue any pieces onto it immediately after opening the toy.
