This product is soft for baby but didn’t work for what I initially purchased it for. My baby had a bad cradle cap at 2 months and this brush could not get it out because of her voluptuous hair. I can see this working for more bald babies but if your little has hair longer than half an inch then it will not get out all the cradle cap. It can be used as just a hair scrubbie to wash with shampoo though! But if you are wanting it for cradle crap it will not do the job. I still use this to scrub my daughters hair in the bath since I already have them.

My son got a staph infection on his face. It appeared like pea size soars and spread to his arms. He has bad eczema, and our pediatrician said this is common with all of the scratching he does. We battled the staph infection for weeks. It would seem to get better and then flair up again. Our doctor recommended we use these to clean his finger nails daily. We cleaned his finger nails with these scrubbers every night in the tub for about three weeks. We used a special surgical soap with these scrubbers. It has been over a year, and no more staph infections!!!!! I also used these scrubbers (unmediated, no soap) to get rid of my infant’s cradle cap. Worked like a charm!!! Highly recommend.

We wanted a quality replacement for the brush provided by the hospital but we didn't want to pay some of the inflated prices at the R-Us stores. This brush is the same dimension and quality as the hospital brand. Maybe they supply the hospitals?? So far both sides (sponge and brush) are holding up very well after a few weeks of use.I base many of my decisions to buy stuff for our baby from reviews here on Amazon.
