Franke GDX11028 Plumbing Replacement Parts, Stainless Steel

When our kitchen was remodeled 16 yrs it was suggested that we not economize on the sink and faucet. We selected a Franke sink and it survived the last 16 years beautifully. Cleanup left the sink looking like nearly new. The entire sink bottom had a sound deadening barrier to dampen the noise when things were moved around in the sink. Based on this positive experience we purchased this sink for our current remodel. The new unit has a 6" x 6" sound deadening pad stuck on the sink bottom that is pretty much useless. After following Franke's suggestions for cleaning, this new sink doesn't even look as good as the 16 yr old one we replaced. The stainless is dull and never looks completely clean. I guess you don't get what you pay for.

I was skeptical about ordering this sink on Amazon. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition. I have been using the sink for about a month now, and it drains well and looks great. The rounded corners and sloped bottom do a great job of preventing debris build-up in the sink.

Glad we splurged on this sink. It is really nice and fit and finish were really good. A bed liner type coating on the bottom. Not as loud as I was expecting coming from a cask iron/porcelain sink. It drains well and rinses pretty easily. The matching grate, while expensive, was worth the money.

Spent a lot of money for this sink, dent and a scratch on the outside lip. Very very disappointing.

I love the size of this sink and it looks great. It has a relatively flat surface and it is hard to spray food particles down the drain. I usually have to move anything bigger than a blueberry with my fingers. It does scratch easily so I recommend getting the grid for it.
