Q: How do I attach this to my sketchbox easel? I know it doesn’t need the strap so how do I put it on? My package never came with extended instructions

Great question! There is a strip of adhesive Velcro included in the package of the product that will allow you to mount the product without the rubber strap.

Q: could this swivel so that washed brushes could be put in it and easily flipped to dry them bristles down,then back up into a working position?

Yes, great question! It was designed with that purpose in mind and you can rotate it 360 degrees so that brushes can be flipped upside down while drying and they won't fall out.

Q: Will this wear the finish off the handles of my brushes? I really don't want to damage my Escodas.

It's hard to say, that's not a guarantee we can make, but the plastic "fingers" that grip the brush handles are smooth and shouldn't be much more wear and tear on the brush handles than just holding them with your hands and using them. Great question!

Q: Did anyone use this for watercolour with a tripod?

No, I use it with my acrylics on my tripod. But I don't see why you couldn't after all, a brush is a brush and it will hold pretty much any brush.
